The town was rowdy and distraught, as the news of the murder of four teenagers spread like wildfire among the folks of hallow grove. It had been hours since the death of the four teenagers that had shattered the peace of this normally sleepy town. Their deaths had left the community devastated.
The once-bustling streets were now void of life, the shops and stores all shuttered. The few people who did venture outside moved quickly, their faces set in grim determination as they went about their business. The sense of sadness was palpable, the grief for lost sons, brothers, and friends weighing heavily in the air.
In the town square, there was a makeshift memorial set up for the four teenagers, Adrain, Clara, Ellis, and Ella. A sea of flowers, balloons, and candles adorned the base of a large statue. The names of the deceased were inscribed on a plaque at the foot of the statue- a reminder of the tragedy that had befallen this small town.
A somber group of mourners stood around the memorial, their heads bowed, lost in their thoughts and heartache. They all had a connection to the four teenagers, some were family, others close friends, and some were merely acquaintances. But the common bond they all shared was the deep sense of loss that came with the sudden and tragic death of someone they cared about.
The townspeople were struggling to come to terms with what had happened. Speculations and rumors about the sudden death plagued the town like a disease, some believed it was the wild wolves, others believed it was a tragic incident that was somehow connected to the siblings up the town hill, While a superstitious few believed a curse had been placed on the town which would spell the doom and end of Hallow Grove. The town had lost more than just four of its members, it had lost its sense of community, its joy, and its hope.
The town had been irrevocably changed by the death of the teenagers, and the people who lived there would never forget the tragedy that had befallen them. No one knew what the future would hold for this once-vibrant town, but one thing was for certain, it would never be the same again.
Amidst the chaos, inside Mr. Oliver's bookshop, was a girl perched by the window, lost in thought. The raindrops fell heavily on the glass pane, creating a peaceful melody that somehow soothed her troubled mind. She pulled her blanket tighter around her and let out a slow, heavy sigh.
Hallow Grove was known for its frequent rainstorm. However, it seemed to add to the gloominess and uneasiness around town.
She had spent the last five hours thinking a lot about the strange yet beautiful man up the town hill. Her heart would flutter whenever the image of his face and his alluring golden irises popped up, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something was stirring inside of her with each passing second. It was strange, as she had never felt this way before.
"Argh why does it have to be him?," She groaned letting out a frustrated sigh
As she stared outside, she wondered if it was just a fleeting fancy, something that would fade away with time. But deep down, she knew it wasn't. She couldn't explain it, but there was something about him that made her feel alive and curious. He was like a puzzle she wanted to solve. An enigma she wanted to uncover.
She knew barely anything about him, yet there was something about his quiet demeanor and gentle smile that drew her in.
She wondered if he ever thought about her, or if he felt the same pull toward her that she felt toward him. She imagined them walking through the rain together, holding hands, and laughing at the silliest things. She couldn't help but feel a little foolish for letting her thoughts drift so far, but she couldn't help it. She was smitten.
As she sat there, lost in thought, she realized that her feelings for the new stranger in town were growing stronger. She knew she had to do something about it, to find out more about him and maybe gather the courage to speak to him and question him further about himself.
But for now, she was content to sit by the window, wrapped in the warmth of her blanket and dreaming of the possibility of something more.
"Boy trouble?," The voice of a short black-haired man in his early fifties distracted her and drew her wandering thoughts back to the present. She lifted her gaze to meet the stare of his deep blue eyes.
"You know me better than that dad," She smiled at the man named Mr Oliver who owned the bookshop. He was a tall man with a soft gaze, he had an inviting aura that emitted warmth and care as he stared at the last precious thing in his life since the death of his wife, two years ago.
"Yes I do," He smiled taking a seat next to her, with today's tragic event, the shop was empty beside Alexa and her father, "Is it about today?, you shouldn't think too much about it,"
"Why is that?, do you have a theory that explains their sudden deaths?"
"I have facts," He said which piqued Alexa's interest, "Wolves,"
"Wolves?," She repeated his words with a smile
"Yes, the wolves did it, if you ask me, I think they probably got drunk and wandered into the deeper part of the forest," He said crossing his arm over his chest, gleaming with confidence
"Then how would you explain the bodies being found at the roadside and not the forest?,"
"They were probably found in the forest, but some teenage psychos must have dragged their bodies back into town," He said while Alexa's eyes widened at the realization. It certainly made sense, "We both know Adrian and Ellis weren't exactly liked in town, they made a lot of enemies, one of which must have found their body and dragged it back to town for a sick twisted joke,"
"You should have been a detective Dad," She laughed. Everything he said as usual made a lot of sense, there was no way the Klaus brothers had killed those teenagers. There was simply no reason behind it and besides no human possessed such strength and brutality.
"Hello!" The entrance doors swung open. Stepping through the doors was a hot as fire short blonde haired girl with dazzling blue eyes, a vision of ethereal beauty. Her short hair glistens with a warm radiance, framing a face that seems to glow with a natural radiance.
Her piercing blue eyes captivate, drawing one in with an almost hypnotic pull. She exuded a striking confidence that was both elegant and alluring. Her striking features are enhanced by bold makeup and wore a perfect combination of leather and lace, revealing just enough skin to tantalize but leaving a sense of mystery to her allure. She had a body that was crafted for pleasure, as her huge bust bounced with each step, and her well-shaped waist swung seductively.
Her piercing gaze and devilish smile were enough to let anyone know she was trouble, however, one couldn't help but feel drawn to her energy. Sighting the girl at the entrance Alexa's face gleamed in delight as she ran towards her into an embrace.
"I can't breathe, you're squeezing the life out of me," She struggled to say as Alexa loosed her grip around her
"It's good to have you back Skylar," Alexa told with a smile.
"It's good to be back sharp knuckles," She said pinching her across the cheeks. Both girls had been friends and raised together from Childhood and had attended high school together in the small town.
At this point they considered themselves as sisters, however, for the first time, Skylar had left the town a year ago after being offered a fashion job in the city. It had a decent pay with huge opportunities which made it difficult to turn down.
"Skylar, welcome home," Mr. Oliver expressed his joy with a smile pulling her in for a hug. She was like his second daughter as he had watched and cared for the girl like his own child.
Although life seemed to have given her a silver plate, her early life, however, was torturous as her mother had died at birth and her father plunging himself into gambling depths and excessive drinking to cope with his loss.
It was only a matter of time before he got addicted to hard drugs and was unfit to raise Skylar who Mr Oliver had graciously taken in. Being childhood friends with her mother he couldn't bare to ignore the child and watch her suffer. Instead, he adopted her into his home and raised her as a daughter.
"It's good to be back Father," She said with a smile. She felt overwhelmed by her emotions as she patted Mr Oliver across his back.
