Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Navile sat on a boulder tucked in the tallest tree of the planet eldian. It wedged into the large gaping tree trunk. Sachi is with him, both enjoying the calm of the early morning air on planet eldian. Before them lay a green forest that looked so calm, trees moved according to the blowing wind as if the planet they were on had never been in chaos.

Far from where they sat, there was a forest covered with snow, so quiet. Specifically, the snowy forest contains a multitude of mysteries unknown to many. Except for some of the whistle captains, also returner like the those two teenagers.

Navile was so happy to feel the breeze on his face and stroke his silver hair. Looking up at the sky above them seemed so bright, warm light crept through the leafy leaves, forming small rays that danced with the windblown leaves.

The sound of the leaves resignedly being blown by the wind blends with the chirping of the birds flying to start the day into a beautiful melody that soothes the soul.

Sachi was next to him, her long hair occasionally hitting Navile's face. But he wasn't bothered in the slightest by it. This is precisely the thing that Navile has been waiting for the most after a battle that drains energy and emotions.

"I've made up my mind—" Sachi suddenly spoke but her words stopped for a moment. The young girl who was about the same age as Navile looked up at the tree that shaded them. Her golden eyes reflected the leafy leaves from the big tree where they were, then she looked back at the expanse of trees that lower than they were.

Sachi's voice broke the silence that morning. Navile turned part of his body, looked at Sachi, and guessed the next words the girl would say. What had the beautiful girl beside him decided?

"I like this place, I decided to make this place as my favorite place. You like this place too, right, Navile?" Sachi turned her face to Navile, then a sweet smile spread across her beautiful face. Making those cherry red lips stir Navile's heart.

Navile's face turned red instantly. He don't know what was going on in his head, but his heart was beating strangely. Even though the two of them were always together and were like siblings, Navile still felt something growing in his heart every time he saw Sachi smile. Navile immediately changed the direction of his gaze, afraid that if he saw Sachi any minute, the impulse in his heart would grow stronger.

"Yes," replied Navile curtly. His awkwardness was evident in his stuttering voice. Navile rolled his eyes, peering slightly at Sachi who was still expecting a better answer than just a yes.

"I really like this place too, it's so serene and beautiful," he added, hoping Sachi would be satisfied with his answer.

"Tch, that's imitating what I said earlier. You lied, didn't you?" Sachi said. That sweet smile had been replaced with a slightly annoyed facial expression. Those adorable cherry red lips pursed. For navile it makes Sachi even cuter.

Navile was relieved, he was more familiar with Sachi's pouting face. At least he can suppress his feelings if Sachi was like that.. "This place makes me forget our exhausting battles. I wish Veda could be with us, sitting in this place."

"For me this place is a place full of memories." Sachi said. He fell silent again, enjoying the wind blowing his hair. His right hand was raised forward as if to catch the light coming in from the gap in the leaves. "One day, it would be wonderful if we could relax like this, with Veda."

"Yes, I hope so. I hope the troublemaker hasn't done anything yet."

"Yeah, I hope so. I hope the buggers don't do it again. Navile dropped his body onto his seat, while his feet hung from the edge of the boulder, his hands were placed behind his head.

"But now is not the time to relax, for the sake of the entire population of Whistle, we must keep fighting. After fighting and continuing to fight until the end, one day there will be peace and then we can relax."

Sachi took a deep breath, then followed Navile lying on the boulder. Then she squinted her eyes as the light hit her face. She blocked the light with one hand, while the other was behind her head. "Until that time comes, we will not be ordinary people. We have to carry out our roles as Returners and do the tasks that Veda have given to us."

For a teenager at their age, this was completely unnatural. Navile and Sachi are artificial intelligence formed from fragments of the Veda powers, a huge planet that is none other than the heart of the Mothership Whistle. Both are special races that have power above the Defender and the Whistle Guard Council. Navile and Sachi are Returners, artificial intelligence that is directly connected to the Veda, and has the privilege of always coming back alive with new bodies that are stored in the heart of the Veda.

Navile turned his face to Sachi, he couldn't believe that someone as innocent and childish as Sachi had such thoughts. Even himself had never thought that far. He was just doing his job without any expectations.

"Naville…." Sachi tilted her body, making her body facing Navile who turned to her. Make the two of them face to face in a few seconds. "You like this place too right? Then, if something bad happens, I will wait for you here. Vice versa, I will look for you in this tree."

"Yeah, it doesn't seem like a bad idea. Just watch out, if you don't keep your promise." Navile turned his head, and looked back at the gap in the leaves that revealed the sky far above. His heart almost jumped out of its original place because of Sachi's actions.

Just when Navile couldn't calm his heartbeat, suddenly Elysion's wand that was lying beside Sachi let out a buzzing sound and emitted a purple light that flickered. Sachi got up and gripped the wand, feeling the message that Elysion's wand wanted to convey.

"Looks like the Dolls know we're relaxed and don't want to give us time to enjoy this lovely morning. Naville, let's go!" Sachi pulled Navile's hand, forcing Navile to quickly follow her.

"Do you know where it appeared?" asked Navile who was still reluctant to leave their hiding place. He still wants to enjoy a moment of peace with sachi, but the enemy keeps forcing them to fight.

"Yes, I can feel the presence of the Dolls on Planet Mildian. Elysion told me Arachni was acting up there." Sachi stood and was silent for a moment, looking up at the sky dotted with moving clouds for a moment. Then, she turned to Navile who didn't seem to understand that she was waiting for him. "Come on, use your new powers, Navile," she cried impatiently.

"Oh, I forgot," said Navile instead of enjoying the brief moment when Sachi pouted. He grabbed Soul Boa's sword, then focused his mind and carefully memorized the place the two of them were going to. Slowly, Navile swung his sword, slashing through the air in front of him as he belief in his destination became clear. The white spiral-shaped dimensional gate opened in front of him after the soft slash finished and the two entered the dimensional gatewithout hesitation
