Chapter 12 - The Censure (Part 1)

"Do not pretend to be a victim there, have you seen the condition of our leader? Only witches are capable of making a poison that will only lead to death for anyone who eats with this substance. Do not make us fools, if in you think you can get away with those excuses of yours, well you are wrong!" A civil guard yelled at her at the same time as he pulled her arms, it could be seen that the individuals around her were very angry because of her words.

She could not stop crying at that moment, hoping to find her father in that chaotic place and escape so that they could live quietly and peacefully as before.

Yna does not know why it is just like that if some creatures can act, they do not have enough evidence to prove that her father is the reason for their alpha's condition now that they almost killed him with their words.

She could not even understand where that hatred came from when in reality her father could never do anything he was accused of. She continued to hope that they at least got to know her father before they judged him too well, because the anger they were throwing in Beldam territory right now because of just one accusation was very alarming.

This is not what her father had planned for them, her father never wanted harm with others. And if they only witnessed the full trust that her father gave to their territory, maybe they would immediately take back what they were saying at this moment.

"Why did you come in here? You must have used your power to deceive us! All you witches are a plague on our territory!" A loud scream from a woman dressed as a servant, Yna did not know what to do at that moment when she was completely surrounded by several creatures there, and yelled at, and what was even worse, there were some who were able to hurt her.

So in fact, she is innocent, and they do not know the whole truth yet, add to the fact that she is only a child and should not have tasted any mistreatment because it is blasphemy. But Yna was able to ignore all of that just to see her father again, she was ready to endure the pain of the words and physical pain of those living in Hyena, just to be with her father again.

"Punish the leader of the witches!" The screams of the werewolves in that area made Yna's eyes almost water when she found where her father was. Even though she was struggling with her condition, she still managed to escape the pile of people only to escape her father in this chaos.

At this moment, her father suddenly appeared not far away, being beaten with thick irons and thin whips on the back, the girl could hardly move where she was when she saw her father's condition. It was clear to her in those moments that the blood was coming out of his mouth, and all over his body from the excessive weight of each stroke on him. And what depressed Yna even more, was that her father could not even fight, when he already had all the opportunities to run away, and stay away from what happened to him.

"That's enough! Stop it! My father is innocent! That's enough!" She immediately ran to her father's place and hugged her poor body full of blood and wounds, she did not care if she was hit and felt the pain of her father.

"Y-You a-are s-stubborn, I t-told you n-not to f-follow me." Even though Samuel was having difficulty speaking because of the wounds he received from the many Hyena creatures that surrounded and attacked him, that did not stop him from reprimanding Yna for her stubbornness.

She immediately used her magic wand to create a large shield around her father so that the Hyena creatures wouldn't hurt them, causing her to hug Samuel even tighter.

"Yna..." her father emphatically mentioned seeing what she did, her father strictly forbids her to use her power because she may not be able to control it yet. But she could not continue speaking when she felt a sudden pain in her chest, and noticed a large iron scar that probably hit that part.

That caused Yna to cry even louder, she could not lose her father, she would die.

"Let's leave this place, father." Yna mentioned at the same time as she sobbed loudly, and even though Samuel was having difficulty raising his hand to touch her daughter's face, he did not care anymore.

"G-Go h-home to o-our h-home, go a-away. L-Leave m-me h-here, m-my d-daughter." Samuel said disjointedly while his eyes were slowly closing and it seemed that his voice was weak.

Yna was also aware of her father's suffering at that moment, which is why she only shook her head in response.

"We are going home, father. After this, our territory will live in peace away from other territories. I don't want this anymore, I a-am afraid." Yna said as she shed tears because she was so afraid of her father's life.

"G-Guide our t-territory, do not g-give up u-until the t-time c-comes w-when you c-can u-unite e-everyone. C-Continue my d-desire, Yna." at the same time as Samuel said that, the shield formed by Yna's magic wand was completely removed, because it could no longer withstand when it took too long for him to form it and add the hitting of individuals to the shield so that they could completely hurt the two.

"I l-love you, m-my d-daughter." Samuel mentioned at the same time the sudden piercing of an arrow in his chest, deeply embedded in it which caused Samuel's eyes to close immediately indicating that he could no longer bear the pain caused by it.

At the same time as an arrow hit Samuel's chest that only werewolves have the ability to control, they followed by hitting Yna with their whips, almost not caring about what they were doing.

At that moment, Yna did not realize that someone had hit her with a pipe and whipped her because her back was bleeding because she was hugging her father at that moment. The pain of losing his father was more superficial than the pain caused by those living in Hyena.

"No. No. No! Wake up, father. Wake up!"

She repeatedly mentioned that her father's life really ended there, but the memories she shared with him will never be erased from her mind.

(Flashback)

"I am delighted that we will finally have a peer sphere of influence that will be our friend on all levels, and I am confident that one day all the Cartesian territories will be reconciled, however hazily, but I will continue to hope." Samuel's voice, hope can be seen in his voice as if he wants his words to come true when the time is right. He is the high priest or leader of witches in their territory.

At this moment, he and his wife, Yolanda, are preparing to go to the territory of Hyena, nest of Werewolves. The two sides agreed to be friends in all things, and to unite their territory for mass unity, because the creatures in their territories always find treasures, or riches buried by ancient creatures who lives in Cartesian. As well as all their leaders and subordinates are not greedy, they decided that the treasures they find will be given to mortals by planting treasures in their land, which will be needed by the individuals there when the time comes. They believe that when there is a treasure buried in the land of mortals, they will not be attacked by any disaster or storm, and their land will remain rich for them to benefit from for generations to come.

They had just seen mortals' greatness, and as a recompense for their positive behaviour, the two sides decided to develop a deep understanding of there own subject as well as other living creatures within and without the Cartesian.

"That is also my prayer; I hope universe hears it; as well as I find myself hoping that there will be no more wars between the territories; all I want for us is tranquility." Yolanda uttered whilst also firmly hugging her husband, she didn't actually know but it seemed like at that present time she felt anything really jittery, whatever the cause of that despair that caused her heart to beat incredibly quickly because of the anxiousness was nothing is the idea. She was glad that their territory, out of one of the Cartesian's seven, would finally have a companion, but there seemed to be something wrong with what they were going to do, and she did not even know where the mistake was in seeking stillness? In search of ways to assist those in need? She just paused for a moment, managed to convince that she was only feeding her mischievous imagination and that nothing else would enter her mind.
