Each year ever since the center paradise started worshipping the 3 great ZU's, Yam district has been in charge for setting up and hosting the annual festival for all of the districts to take part in.
The festival is held at the Yamato shrine wich has been run by the Yamato family for generations. They have a set amount of attractions each time, with 2 stands that are contributed by the North, South, East and West paradise in circulation, this is to let outsiders have a chance to sell their merchandise and get to experience the flow of the festival.
The festival got named "Appreciation Festival" for being known to celebrate life, death and for being spared during the wrath of Wazu.
When the celebration starts, the shrine maidens brings out a old looking ceramic bottle with cloth and a talisman that is covering the top of the flask. For inside this bottle resides Wazu the god of death, the villagers place this flask on a pedestal with food and other religious offerings and have a moment of silence infront of the bottle.
They do this to pray and remember the sacrifices made centuries ago while the great gods had to work as a team to seal him.
This is the reason why the festival is called Appreciation festival..
