As the days go by since meeting Yuruna Kamimori, Kei has been playing with his new friend for a while and gone to school together, at school he notices everyone keeps their distance from her, as if she was some sort of monster that everyone was afraid to approach..
Some of the other children have started their own social circle at school, they make tales about Yuruna originating from strange backgrounds, possibly a ghost and all sorts of ideas children of the ages 7~8 can come up with, the teachers would do nothing to break these groups up as they themself find her a bit odd.
Kei has been Yuruna's only friend now for the weeks of her arrival at the school, but he does not mind anymore, as long as he can keep being with his overly cheery and supportive new friend, he has given up trying to befriend the others as they have now well grown into a strong group that does not accept them.
Some years starts to pass by and from the day Kei did not feel her ominous aura anymore, he started to remember that odd feeling of back pain he had back then..
He decided to look in the mirror and what he saw had him spooked, he could see a disturbing black spot that was wriggling about on his skin and it started to hurt, hurt and hurt more after discovering it.
As the days slowly go by and the discovery of this black spot has grown larger each time he thinks about it, half of his back is now covered with what looks like black veins stretching out in every way possible..
Soon with the years passing again and Kei has turned 15 he cannot withstand this anymore, his body fully covered in black veins squirming around like they are about to burst, Kei has become paralyzed and cannot walk anymore, the frightend Yuruna gets a priest but the priest cannot do anything, but what they learned from the priest was that Kei had been CURSED but they did not know the name of it and were unable to get any useful information on how to save him.
From the looks of it, the priest mentioned Kei Yamato may only have 14 days left to live unless a miracle would happen...
