"Girls!!,be down in five, today's family cleaning day remember!'

"ugh...mom can't we just skip family cleaning day?"

"definitely not. Where's Ashley?"

"upstairs"

"Ashley don't make me come up there!".

They could both hear Ashley thump her feet above them, Mrs Meryl sighed, bringing out all the necessary items they'd need to clean.

"it'd be so much better if the house could clean it's self" Glenda grumbled

"That'd be way too cool" Ashley supported, whilst climbing down the stairs

" Glenda you're cleaning the living room, Ashley you're cleaning the toilet an...

"woah,woah, woah!,mum!,why do I have to clean the toilet?,I did that last family cleaning day remember?"

"you're cleaning the toilet and that's final" Mrs Meryl said

"but..."

"you can't escape this one sis" Glenda whispered into her ear, Ashley rolled her eyeballs, nudging Glenda out of the way, she picked up a rubber gloves and marched to the toilet.

The cleaning did take a while, but they managed to get everything done, took their bath and had breakfast.

" both of you do the dishes, I'll be up" Mrs Meryl left

"I'm going to the mall, wanna come?"

"No" Ashley responded absent mindedly

"There'll be chocolates" Glenda cooed

'"really?, I'll come" Ashley replied sharply, Glenda chuckled at how her sister would do literally anything just for chocolates.

"We've been walking round this mall for hours now mom and you still haven't found the perfect dress?!" Jack groaned

"Quite whining Jack, it's been only ten minutes"

"you could've just taken Samantha with you,I ache all over"Jack whimpered

" Samantha was busy an..."

"so was I mum...' he cut her short "can I wander around?" he asked

"if that'll stop you from hurting my ears then yes". Jack quickly scurried off, heaving a huge sigh of relief. He'd barely gone far when he caught a glimpse of someone familiar,

" wow that's Glenda and her sister,what could they possibly be doing here?"he thought " Hey Glenda" he called, running towards her direction

" Jack?!, What are you doing here?, you told me you won't be out until you're done with your project"

" Yeah I did say that,but my mom had other plans for me, hi Ashley"

"Hi" she greeted awkwardly

" I'm glad you're here, wanna join.."

"okay guys I'll have to leave now" Ashley said suddenly feeling like a goosebump

"leave?,to where?" Glenda asked

"maybe outside or I'll just move around"

"but you can join us"

"what? No,you two go ahead, have fun"

"okay" Glenda drawled.

" Come to the mall she said, there'll be chocolates she said,ugh...I could've just maintained my no, if only I had known she'd meet Jack here". Before she knew it, a strong shoulder brushed past her, pushing her to the ground.

" ouch!!,watch where you're going'

"I'm really sorry" a deep yet angelic voice apologised, immediately she raised her head to see who could possess such voice,soon as her eyes meet he's,she was instantly taken aback by his cuteness using her eyes to analyse him from head to toe.

"Ahem!!" he cleared his throat, bringing her back to reality,then did she realise that he had his hands stretched out in a bid to help her up the whole time. immediately she stood up, declining his offer, with his gaze still fixed on her, he withdrew his hand.

"why are you staring at me like that?"

He just shook his head and walked away without uttering another word.

"well that was rude," she said, walking away from that spot to go insearch of her sister, "where exactly would they be?"she pondered...

Feeling quite thirsty, Ashley picked up a Capricorn, pierced it and began drinking from it.

" do you have any intention of paying for that drink?" a security lady asked

" well...." she drawled

" let's not make this hard,just follow me"

"but I didn't steal it'

" looks like it to me miss,this way pls"

"I'll be paying for the Capricorn," a familiar voice said " she's with me"

"she is?'

"I am?"

"yeah, we came for groceries but she wandered off and I've been searching around for her"

"you're in luck miss, you might not get this lucky next time" the lady said and walked away

"are you stalking me?"

"That's definitely not how to say thank you, and why would I be stalking you?",she just shrugged her shoulders and he arched his brows then walked away

" Wait!!," She hollered, running up to him " thanks for saving my ass back there"

" You're welcome" he replied sharply, trying to avoid her

" I don't even know your name?"

" I'm Zed and you are?"

" Ashley"

" Well Ashley,it was nice meeting you,now I have to go do something important"

" I could help you out,if you want, I'm free right now"

" You don't have to, besides it's not something you can do" he said with a smirk

"Try me" she responded confidently

" Hmmmm... fiesty, I like that"

" Soooo..

" Fine you can tag along "

" Where exactly are we going?"

" You'll know when we get there"

" Where's your sister Glenda?"

"I couldn't find her in the mall, so I thought she'd be home"

" Why would you even leave her alone in the mall?"

" I didn't leave her mom,she left me...and stop worrying Ashley can take care of her self, she's not a kid"

Almost immediately,they heard the sound of a car entering the compound, they both ran to the window to take a peek.

" Who could that be?"

" I have no idea... wait... isn't that Ashley?"

Soon after they both had a chit-chat, the car drove out of the compound, Mrs Meryl and Glenda still standing by the window watched as Ashley walked in.

" Who was that?"Glenda asked

" Aaah ....my goodness, you scared me... wait were you guys peeking?

" Don't change the subject Ash"

" A friend"

" How come I've never met this friend of yours?"

" He's a new one mum,I just met him today"

"Told you she can take care of her self, all these worrying might give you a heart attack someday"

Mrs Meryl sighed"I guess you're right" and immediately left the girls to go microwave some Chinese food for herself

" So tell me all about your movement"

" What exactly do you wanna hear?" Ashley chuckled

" You know damn well what I wanna hear"

"Well... He's cute with a deep voice,yet angelic... you need to hear him speak likee...

" So you're falling for him? Glenda asked with a wink

"Wait, what?...of course not"

" I hear you sis, Glenda responded with sarcasm, Ashley threw her a look

" What's for dinner?"

" Who are you asking?,go prepare something for your self if you're hungry"

" Ugh... I'm going to bed'
