Even if it was his last day, his hazel-green eyes never failed to witness the dreadful vision which played in his mind. He never thought that when death could come slamming into his peaceful and yet dreadful life he would witness the day when he was born. He lay on the ground lifeless. He never got the chance to protect her. He played the game of blame naming himself as the winner of it. His perfectly toned almond skin made his body look like an Indian born in the Southwestern lands. But the way his brown wavy hairs at the end slid back from his upper head till his rear one, he resembled a prince of the Northern Moon-land.
His eyes were playing him a flashback of his time when he bolstered upon the earth with his petite feet. Even as a new born he could see the horror on their brimmed faces. But he couldn't vaguely recall how his father looked. The small cave covered in their distress and misery was laying low as they were playing some kind of adult hide and seek.
Being inside his mother's womb, he can hear abusive curses and screams of terror which said something bad was happening. With his father fighting with all he got, he never understood what was happening but when he recalled it he knew. He could see the day he was born, there was an evil presence near his family.
He never understood what his intention was but he saw the eyes of death through his pair of green hazel. Those eyes were hungry. Hungry for a new life. Being utmost scared inside his mother he wondered what could they both be going through. It was like even god was playing with him. He showed him a memory of his past but never showed the face of his parents.
Despite under his little self, he could see his dad raging a war against evil. The small cave was extremely pure as he slashed him away with his sword. The evil entity was thrown away entirely to another land. With the glowing blue sword rising to his hands he witnessed a similar jacket on his torso.
An emulsified cry left his lips as the jacket he wore every day was his Father's. What was the reason for God to show him all this on his deathbed? His father was powerful but as he compared himself to him he couldn't agree more to be the winner again on the blame naming.
He was powerless and weak as his death was near. He wasn't dying of illness but he was dying at the hands of evil. He was an enemy but his eyes weren't hungry for a new life, the one he saw now. His father carried his mother in his arms as he slowly laid her on the soft sheets covered on a stone. The former jacket bearer seemed thankful for some of his companions to help him out of the situation.
"Hurry up, Blaze," As a fresh and worried voice came out he was startled to listen and witness everything.
"Aaahhh" Blaze balled up his hands in fists as he saw Sumitra scream in excruciating pain. Her body was losing its strength. He wanted to save her life, the life of the only woman who gave her love. As far as much as he wanted to do he couldn't do anything but just be there with her.
Being witnessed by all of these, the coffee-coloured hairs covering his face, he wondered if these really are his memories or someone else's.
"Just hold on Sumi," Blaze added while clasping tight to her hand. His other hand gently patted her further; he cleaned her sweat with his own boho. Diana added a comforting hand as she tried to calm Sumitra.
"What's wrong? Why isn't she saying something?" Diana asked with a worried expression bolted on her face. Sumitra's body looked pale and weak. Her eyes were closed due to her strength being jeopardized at the edge of her death.
"There's no time, Blaze '' He heard Avi's desperation for the situation to be saved. Blaze was on the verge of a breakout. His hopes were breaking down slowly as Sumitra's heartbeat began to slow down.
"Can we save her?" He asked his friend who pressed his lips to halt his cries away.
"The wound has made her lose a lot of blood, we are lucky that the baby is safe, but her body is losing its strength…"
"Lucky huh," He chuckled looking at his wife. "Nothing is lucky or even normal now." He said as his voice raised higher.
"Blaze you have to answer faster," Avi's tone was louder as he checked Sumitra's heartbeat slowing down. Blaze almost crushed his eyelids together while fisting his hands on his thighs trying to crush everything but failing to do so.
