Chapter 9 - Inside The Bare Minimum

Start with finding your source of power." Mr Alberich advised the students behind them as they were finding trouble.

"What is going on here?" Mr Samuel approached the group in a hefty way.

"Nothing, Master Samuel," Aubrey said, flashing a quick glance at Kellen who was trying to hide away from her looks.

"Why don't you start by increasing your takt power intensity?" Mr Samuel ordered with his gaze sharp-pointed at all of them.

"But how can we do it?" Isla questioned.

"It's simple actually." His tone changed with a sarcastic notion. His smile was stretched into a thin line.

"You just have to concentrate on your inner takt and then bring it towards your main source, centering your major power in one place." Ella's face forged curious waves and her lips turned into an O-shaped interpretation. Kellen swiftly moved from behind and chuckled looking at Mr Samuel. As Mr Samuel saw him he smiled at the group and waited for their response.

"It's easy, we just have to force our power as much as we can to center it together" Jareth chuckled with a snug look.

"Let's see then," Mr Samuel forcibly stretched his lips into a smile.

He launched a final look at all of them and went on towards the other students.

"Did he just challenge us?" Aubrey widened her oceanic eyes. Her nose flared with anger.

"He is always such a pain in the ass!" Isla flipped her strawberry blondes back with a bit of anguish slang twisted with her casual tone.

"We don't stand a chance against him, with just his hands he is capable of deafening almost one fourth of the Glitz," Jareth said, shoving his hands inside the ruff of his pants.

"Maybe even weakening them." Kellen countered back.

"What if we gave him a shock of our success in the form of this shell?" Ella said with a determined look.

"Hell yeah," Jareth woohooed and cornered his arms on Kellen while the others smiled.

Ella stayed still focusing on inside her mind. She brought her hands near to her chest and closed her eyes.

"Touch your index finger and thumb together then close your eyes. When you feel that you have entered the realm inside of you, that's when you will enclose your remaining fingers together." Mr Alberich's ominous aspect of explaining to them to accumulate their takt was highly grasping.

"Remember just the tips." He warned them sincerely. As Ella followed his guidance, she felt something irking inside.

Through the blackness surrounded by her eyes, in the form of slick veins severing into a bright light core shattered the darkness.

The barren land with no touch of liveliness was her second home-dwelling deep inside. It was where her deep takts of unusual powers were left uncovered.. Some glowing huge crystals were revolving around in a circle. A coral blue colour then a garnet red followed by leafy green. Midnight black before on the top in between the circular cover of the colours. An amethyst lavender colour, golden yellow, pearl white, rouge pink and fiery orange; cluster shaped running around in a circle.

'Wait, why are there so many colours?' She thought Even inside the circle other coloured crystal contrasting to the dark shades were glowing bright. Thunder grey, dusty rose, light turquoise and a pearl aqua colour moving along in the total opposite of its outer covering.

'Which one is it?'

Even concentrating couldn't help. She pressed her fingers fiercely on to each other moving her mind forward deep inside. Her locket shook and made her shudder from outside, catching a small attention towards her. Inside the darkness and hollowness, she witnessed a diamond edge-cut crystal; a proper mirror image like her locket.

'Is this it?' She thought to herself. Ella's prominent hands were yearning to touch the diamond-cut cluster. As the tips of her finger touched the crystal, it jerked her away with a sharp white light throwing her down with a huge force. The light was powered like a beam which threw her away with it's instant force.

Her eyes jerked open to reality. No power nor she could control her own power. Her eyes glanced at some students beaming with a smile after forcing their power into one point. "Hey, Ella" Kellen called her from behind. She turned around. He strolled towards her with a gentle smile on his face.

"Hey" She jumped up to her own voice in slight excitement.

" You almost shuddered a while ago, is something wrong?," He intoned.

Her face went back to normal. "Yeah, I can't find my powers inside of me," She added in a gleaned tone.

"I can help you," He suggested.

She widened her eyes at the thought of this actually being a dream. Her insides were screaming to pinch herself and check but she avoided it.

"Hey," He glanced down at her. The same concern looks just like before.

"I am sorry for that." He apologized after inspecting the torn thread over her top from behind. He hesitated to put his hands as he glazed his hazel beauty at her. "Here, let me help you?" He removed his scarf from his neck and wrapped it around her.

His icy hands touched the bare skin on her back. She gulped her saliva which was already forged by his closeness.

"When did that happen?" Ella implored curiously. It must have happened when she fell back with him. Still, his muscular arms held her closer and that was the moment when she heard a ripping sound on which she avoided her attention, but he did. Thanks to those charming pairs of grassy-copper eyes in which she was busy staring at.

Her skin electrified under his icy touch. The fabric on her light caramel skinned body was ripped into two on the back starting from her waist till middle-back. Covering those parts with his scarf, his fingers moved to the front. Another gulp went inside the locket bearer's mouth.

Biting her lips, she could feel her heated skin rising by his slight touch and that could never beat the tension between them. Her hands started to sweat.

Kellen was nowhere near comfort. He too was feeling a strange sensation over his body ,the moment he lightly touched her. He couldn't deny the tension but his mind was focused to surround his thoughts over that tension .

'Don't go overboard. It's just a friendly gesture. He is just trying to help you. Doofus!' She thought.

Ella slightly opened her lips as a hot whiff fanned out of her mouth. His snowy palms moved around her belly to tie a knot. The rosy tinted cheeks flamed higher around her face. Ella dropped her eyes and whispered with her unsteady mouth.

"Thank you Kellen, But….. l.. let me tie the knot," He sighed a massive breath and waited for her to take the scarf. She saw him quietly looking at me but a strange look wandered around his face. His forehead was filled with lines and some of the sweat beads after almost tying a scarf around my waist.

"Yeah, Alright" She took the end of his scarf in her hands and tied a butterfly knot.

"That looks really good on you" He praised her with his hands groping at the back of his pant pockets..

'Is he nervous too?' She thought

'Is she nervous' He thought.

"Let me help you with your power control." He advised her as his grin shined on his face.

"Ohh... Umm," Ella started to think of a sentence which would sound like a quick denial. She couldn't handle the amount of closeness and went speechless to say anything.

"Why don't you start by finding the true source inside?" Kellen explained something which had already gone cry to the deaf ears.

"I have, but it doesn't work," She replied.

"Hmmm," He kept his index finger and thumb on his chin caressing it, while his other hand supported him on his waist. His eyebrows waved over its surface with curious notions.

"If he cannot find his true source inside, maybe his powers aren't working with him. Your friend can lend you some powers to help you out. "They heard Mr Alberich one their left, he was guiding a group of learners in which one of them was stuck with finding his own source.

"You can both try duelling your powers." He implied to the other group of learners.

"Wanna try?" Kellen asked. His face was shining brighter than the sun. There was something in those undeniable hazel pairs which Ella couldn't withhold to say no.

"Uh Huh Okay" With a slow whisper, she nodded.

"Alright, give me your hand," He advised putting his hand in front of them. She hesitated to put her hand but forced her inner screams to calm down..

"C'mon" He insisted, his fingers moving around on his right hand as they signalled her.

"Alright let's try!" She already fixed her eyes to envisioned them working together on both of their powers.

'But what if it doesn't go how I always wished?' She thought. A curious gaze formed as she placed her hand on his. Kellen closed his eyes concentrating on his takt powers like Ella was doing a while ago.

After a second or two she could feel the power coming inside of her. A wave of turquoise blue takt glowing at the edge of their hands where they touched. He opened them, still, his powers were reaching her. He was really good at it.

"Now go on," He whispered. She closed her brown eyes going right back to the place where She had encounter the big lilac crystal. Cut on every edge like a real diamond it was the most spiritual thing she have ever seen. It shone brighter even in the darkness which was near her.

"What is this thing?" She talked to herself inside her Dark Facet. Ella walked towards it slowly. She can feel extra power building up inside due to Kellen's power source. The lilac crystal was kept on a big flat stone. "Is this an illusion?" She walked closer inspecting it.

"Let's check if it really works!" Ella infused Kellen's takt with full power as she concentrated most of it on her right hand.

A huge turquoise glow emerged on her hand. Without any overdue, she touched the crystal, a flash of white beam bolted again like the last time. But this time due to an out-source Ella could handle it in her hands. Like a reflex, she caught on to the enormous lightning beam.

Kellen's takt was pretty much powerful, the coffee haired girl was easily able to cancel the lightning beam emerging at her from the crystal.

Just when Ella thought that the unusual thing would stop, whole loads of beams started to emerge from different sides of the crystal, making her gasp all of a sudden.

"This isn't done?" She gulped at this emulsified power which kept throwing her away. "How will I control it? If I couldn't catch a touch of this power. " The Crystal flashed more beams at her as it repulsed Kellen's power.
