Just as we were about to approach the Quiet Kid, bright light suddenly gathered on top of us.

Everyone immediately noticed the unusual occurrence since everyone looked upwards.

Suddenly, a female ethereal-like voice spoke.

"𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚... 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙, 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙."

"Excuse me?"

What did she say?

My question remained unheard because of someone's relentless shouting.

"TAKE ME BACK, YOU BITCH GODDESS! DO YOU HEAR ME?! TAKE ME BAAAAAA-"

Then all of the sudden, that student's body started dispersing into particles of light.

This greatly alarmed everyone but we noticed that we're also dispersing.

I felt both of my hands were suddenly grabbed by someone. It didn't take me long to realize it was Reika and Anna-chan.

But I didn't get to enjoy the feeling of their hands because the next thing I knew, I lost my consciousness.

When I woke up, I found myself staring at an unfamiliar ceiling while lying on a cold hard ground.

Feeling lightheaded, I sat up while rubbing my forehead.

Suddenly, someone with a bell-like voice spoke while grabbing my hands.

"Hero! You have finally awoken!"

"....Huh?"

In front of me was... dangerously one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen in my life. She was almost as beautiful as Reika.

Snow white skin, Round azure eyes, a very beautiful face, and light-peach hair.

I was almost flustered after realizing that this beautiful person was holding my hands.

She was looking at me with an innocent and hopeful gaze which made me feel more attracted towards her.

...But the more attracted I was, the higher my distrust grew.

I'm the type of person with trust issues and I'm proud to say that I have two friends in life who I half-trust.

Actually no, I trust Anna-chan. While Reika is... Reika is Reika.

I subconsciously nodded after feeling satisfied with my thoughts.

Speaking of which, where are Reika and Anna-chan?

I surveyed the surroundings while completely ignoring the beautiful foreigner in front of me.

We currently seem to be inside a room made with dark cobblestones with no windows and exit, except the lone door in the middle of the wall. Oh, and did I mention that we were surrounded by knights in metal armor?

Well, yeahh add that and I'd bet my fortune that we're in some kind of medieval fantasy setting.

And the room we're currently in reminds me a lot of those dungeon or prison from the middle ages.

On the ground was a huge circular pattern of some kind of inscription made of... blood?

"Hero?"

Facing the beautiful lady in front of me, I noticed that she was wearing a full white gown and frilly designs that would remind you of a dress that women wore during the 16th century in western countries.

...Did we really transmigrate?

"Hero? Do you not understand me? That's weird... the language spell should have worked."

Her face started to grow worried and confused.

Oh no, it's not your fault pretty lady. I'm just way too dazed right now.

Honestly, I praise her for being patient with me since most people tend to get annoyed when I don't respond immediately.

Suddenly-

BOOM!

Rumble... Rumble... Rumble...

"!!!'

The ground began to violently tremble after receiving a strong tremor from outside.

Dust and small debris fell from the ceiling.

Eventually the rumbling stopped but that was enough to put everyone awake.

My classmates started to get up from the ground while rubbing their heads.

Meanwhile, all the knights became alarmed.

A knight with an aged voice spoke. "Your Highness, we do not have much time!"

Now that I have a better look, I realize that the princess seemed younger than I thought. She seems to be just around the same age as us.

The woman who now I suspect to be a princess, answered in an aggrieved voice, "But Sir Charles! We cannot leave them here! The Goddess has finally answered our prayers and leaving our heroes here is akin to pushing away the Goddess' aid!"

Bam!

A door made out of spruce wood and iron frames suddenly burst open as a soldier wearing light metal armor entered.

"Reporting to General Charles! The demonic monsters have breached through the palace's walls and are now rushing towards the palace."

General Charles' face grew ugly as he clicked his tongue and ordered, "Delay them for as long as you can, I will deliver the future queen of our nation out of here."

"Sir, yes sir!" The soldier saluted and hastily exited the room.

"You heard him, Your Highness. I must fulfill my duties and protect the future of our country." General Charles grabbed the princess but the latter seemed conflicted.

"But Sir Charles!"

"No buts, Your Majesty. We have already done everything we can for them."

General Charles' deel voice was cold and decisive as he proceeded to wards the doorway.

Before he left, he glanced towards me. "Boy, I know you can understand me. If you want to live then, Fight.

...Fight and survive."

Leaving these words, he went through the door and the other knights followed behind them.

"Huh... Yabuki-san? Where are we?"

"Why the heck does my head still hurt..."

BOOM!

The room trembled once more, this time completely alarming all of my classmates.

Rumble... rumble... rumble...

"Shit! Where are we?!"

"Hu...." I took a deep breath and snapped out of my daze.

Accepting that everything was real, I immediately processed everything that I have seen so far.

Summoned in another world. Our Summoners left us because the place is being overtaken by monsters.

What do I need to do?

Escape and Survive.

Pretty simple, right? Got it.

After making up my mind, I slapped the dazed Reika behind me.

Slap!

Oh. That felt good.

Reika frowned but the stimulating shock recovered her from her daze.

"Yabuki-san? what's happening?"

Amaterasu-san was one of the few people who woke up and saw that I was speaking to the princess.

I was thinking about waking up Anna-chan but it seems that she was already awake and made her way beside me.

Since the people I care about were awake, I decided to explain.

"We are currently summoned to another world. The place we're in is now being attacked by monsters and our summoners abandoned us.

Basically, we're on our own."

"What?!" Kazuhaki-san exclaimed after hearing my short and brief explanation.

"Are you serious? Another world? Monsters?" Takanaka-san murmured in disbelief. (The cute blonde gal-like girl.)

The other classmates had a similar confused and frightened reaction like her. After all-

BOOM!

The room shook once more and this time, more dust and debris fell from the ceiling, making us cough as we inhaled some of the dust.

"Do you know anything else, Yabuki-san?" Amaterasu-san asked while walking towards me.

I shook my head. "No, That's all but what I do know is we need to leave-"

BOOM!

Rumble... Rumble... Rumble...

"Now."

Making up my mind, I grabbed Reika and Anna-chan by their arms and pulled them as we headed towards the door.

When we opened the door, we arrived at a hallway made from polished stones with torches stuck to the wall, lighting up the way.

This seriously gives me DND vibes.

I no longer had to hold Reika and Anna-chan as they began to run by themselves.

We sped through the long hall without looking behind us once.

Call me a scumbag but I just genuinely don't care about our other classmates. Their lives are not my priority nor do we have a relationship enough for me to have the mildest care towards them.

Ohh, look at me, I'm so edgy...

Sigh, woe is the main character of this series.

Besides, I already gave them all the information I knew, so my conscience is clear.

'Wait, who the heck am I even explaining all this to?'

Anyway, it's up to them whether they wait for each other to wake up and travel together or just escape like what Reika, Anna-chan, and I are doing right now.

Eventually, the stone tunnel hall led to a stairs that ascended upwards.

While climbing, I spoke out of worry. "Anna-chan, watch your steps."

I can't see her face but I think she was looking at me with a dissatisfied expression.

"...I'm not a kid." She murmured quietly.

I can only snicker at that.

As we climbed, we eventually reached the exit of the dungeon and we were instantly greeted by a wave of heat that blew past our bodies.

A thick iron-like scent permeated the air which heavily reminded me of the smell of blood.

We seemed to be inside a palace or... what was left of it as large debris and structure fell to the ground with fire burning everywhere. Thick dark smokes trailed towards the broke ceiling, exposing the darkened night akies. Embers and ashes danced around the area, accompanied by sweat inducing heat.

Pillars that once supported the now collapsed ceiling lay broken across ground whereas the walls showed damaged structure, seemingly moments away from collpasing entirely.

If you think that's all, then you're wrong because numerous corpses of knights littered everywhere. Some were crushed underneath the debris while others had mangled corpses, with their innards exposed outside their bodies.Whereas others were decapitated, with their heads stuck on a bunch of spears and pikes like some sort of holloween decoration.

This surreal nightmarish scene could really only leave me in daze. Oh, but I also heard Anna-chan gagging from behind me, which means that they were seeing. what I'm seeing.

I glanced behind me and Reika had the same pale face that I had.

Also, I realized that someone followed us but they were still underneath the entrance so I did not recognize who they were. But I was sure that they could also see what we were seeing.

Beads of sweat dropped down our foreheads after standing still for a good ten seconds or so.

Looking around the chaotic environment, I couldn't help but ask, "Say, In which hell do you guys think we fell to?"
