The sunset was amazing, as the sky was decorated with different colors.
Beatrice sighed, picking up a fruit that settled on the plate.
She rolled her eyes at Melinda who was fast to pick another.
"Tell me, sister, why did you agree to come to eat with me on this not-too-far-from-home picnic?" Mel asked.
"Not too far from the home picnic? Where were you planning to make it then? In the jungle? sister?"
"It would be a waste to ask a question after a question, cause no one will answer." Mel frowned, to have Beatrice snort.
" I decided to leave the mansion, so I would not end up beating that sister of yours."
"If only Grandpa would allow, I would beat that stupid goat and hang her on the chandelier. Serves better for a clear light." Mel chuckled.
"Ha, it is not right to think Ill of people, lest the grass and trees hear it and twist the words."
Rolling her eyes, Melinda stood up and so did Beatrice when they both saw the maid coming to the backyard of the mansion.
"Is there a problem now Avila?" Beatrice asked, to have the maid shake her head.
"Sir Pablo asked to see you both Milady, the Cullen's are packed to leave." The maid said, to have Melinda sigh a sigh of relief.
"Ha, thank God. I have been holding myself too long because of that girl. Mr. Soas would regret his life if he intended to marry her. A poor man with big eyes." Mel shook her head as they walked to the house.
"Grandpa, aunt, and uncle. Safe journey home, be sure to come back sometime later." Mel said, smiling at the woman.
"Thank you so much, Melinda and Beatrice." The woman said, smiling as well.
"I thought you would never want me here again, ha..but now you're saying to come back again. Seems like the first lesson does not sink in." The young miss was fast to speak.
"Unless you have a dumb brain Athena, I did say, Aunt and Uncle..your name was never in it." Mel retorted.
"Enough quarrel you two." The elderly woman scolded, rubbing her forehead.
"And before I forget Melinda, we are throwing a party next month. Summer is fast approaching and Athena would have to leave for the land of Nalish.. seeing that she has a month left for her Class at Menovel." The woman said again to have Beatrice nod.
"No one would have thought you went to Menovel Athena, with how dumb your brain is. I bet you didn't go to classes." Melinda said with a chuckle.
"Bye girls." The woman waved, and they waved back.
"Who would have thought that our dearest Athena did go to the Lady's School? I mean she's so dumb and very very foolish." Melinda said.
"Melinda!" Grandpa Pablo scolded.
"That is the truth dear Grandpa, right Beatrice?"
"Hmm, she is so dumb. Sometimes I wonder if she's a human or a wolf. Makes me think that Aunty and Uncle adopted her." Beatrice said.
Grandpa Pablo sighed, as he walked to his room.
Melinda was always set to cause trouble but if Beatrice had concluded about the lady being a nuisance..then she is indeed a nuisance.

Walking over to open the door, Beatrice smiled at the person she had met.
"Lady Herbert, of what honor do I owe this visit?"
"You flatter too much Beatrice, hmm.. seeing you all dressed up. Are you going somewhere?" Herbert asked, to see Beatrice shake her head to a No.
"A distant Aunt of mine came to visit and we had to dress up, cause her bratty daughter would have to banter all day for our dress code," Beatrice answered.
"Oh, I see. Then would you mind coming with me to the Lord's mansion?" Lady Herbert asked.
"Huh?" It was at the tip of Beatrice's lips to say No.
She didn't want to think about everything that had happened between her and the Lord for the past few days.
"Okay Lady Herbert, are you set to go now?"
"Yes, my carriage is ready. What about Melinda?" Herbert asked, to have Beatrice shake her head.
"My sister has been hell-bent on finishing her craft work, I don't think she'll want to leave it be," Beatrice replied to have the Lady nod.
"Did something happen between you and the Lord last time? I could feel the air between you two and it was...good?"
"Ha, Lady Herbert.. nothing happened and nothing was good. I think it was the soothing breeze that carried so many emotions." Beatrice said.
"Hmm, I was beginning to wonder. It would not be a bad thing If something happened between you and Lord Beatrice. It would be good for you...
"Lady Herbert," Beatrice called, shaking her head.
"Your cheeks are so red Beatrice..did you add a little too much makeover?" Lady Herbert teased to have Beatrice blush the more.
"The Lord is a nice man."
"I know that, and he's so nice to all the women," Beatrice said, and Herbert laughed.
"Is that Jealousy I smell? Must be the green envy."
"Ha, you smell nothing Milady. Just fragrance and Mint."
"We are here at Milady's." The Coachman said, stepping down and opening the door for the Ladies.
"Thank you, Enoch," Beatrice said with a smile as she got down from the carriage.
"The Lord's mansion is indeed beautiful, so vast and colorful. So unlike the stories told in your little days." Beatrice mumbled, only for Lady Herbert to hear.
"People would always have something to say, Lady Beatrice, you don't have to always blame them. Sometimes..it might be poverty? Sometimes eagerness to please and sometimes...lack of jobs."
"Very well said Lady Herbert and Lady Beatrice, ho delighted that I have met the Lord's new toy." The two ladies turned to the voice that had just spoken and a frown marred Lady Herbert's face.
"Hmm...Lady Sophie."
