Aella gazed up slightly at Bane to see his reaction after she had just revealed what she had intended to do when she came across the great demon of Cassa Dron.
Strangely, his expression was neutral like he just hadn't been told that the maiden in front of him had intentions of getting his heart to save her family from the damnation.
The room fell into a grave silence after her statement and Aella didn't know whether to speak or whether to let him say something first.
She could hardly even gauge the atmosphere. Was it sizzling hot or was it unbearably cold? Is the bubbling sensation in her stomach out of nerves or out of excitement?
She had no idea when it came to Bane. His face was so blank that she didn't even know if he had heard her right.
Unable to bear the suffocating silence, Aella cleared her throat as she rested her trembling hands on the table.
"You did hear what I just uttered, right?" She asked to confirm.
