A loud clang sounded in the air as the sword Aella threw landed in a corner of the room.
She watched as Bane's expression faltered a bit from the decision she made. It was clear he was surprised.
"I have said what I said and I meant each word of it. You can choose to believe or not, but that remains the truth," Aella muttered as tears glistened in her blue orbs.
"And appearances don't matter when we are talking about compassion. I can decide to give my heart to anyone as long as that person has done me good,"
"You may have these large wings," she gestured to his black feathers behind him.
"You may be able to make something out of nothing or have magical powers to make one float in the air but that doesn't matter,"
"All that matters is what lies in your heart. It lies in your actions and you have done enough to prove the stories wrong, Bane," Aella muttered with finality.
