Synopsis

Chapter 1 - Prologue

The walls are constructed with high-quality rocks mixed with wooden frames designed to hold the stone in place while the mortar dried, and the thick side of the walls is built with a cavity filled with rubble rather than solid stone.

These are not ordinary stones; they have been specially mined from the caves of the legendary mountain known as "Aimer-de-la-vie."

Why are we discussing walls?

I can see you staring at me; I assume you are not interested in knowing about walls; therefore, I'll shift the subject.

Now we'll talk about the path.

The roadbed's foundation was dug three feet underground and twenty feet across. The foundation was then filled with huge gravel and sand. A layer of smaller gravel was laid and smoothed. The sides were lined with hand-carved stones and blocks. The top layer of the road was made up of pentagonal (five-sided) stones that were put together.

The roads were inclined from the center so that rainwater would drain into ditches around the sides.

Its major duty was to enable the rapid movement of troops and military supplies, but it also supplies the critical infrastructure for trade and goods transfer.

"Oi...Oii...Oiiii..." what's with the death stare? Do you dislike the road as well? Let me change the topic once more.

Now we talk about houses,

There are two kinds of houses in this town…

People who prefer a more natural atmosphere built their houses out of mud, whilst those who prefer a more comfortable and secure environment built their homes out of burnt bricks.

Because of the strength and impermeability afforded by burnt brick homes, most buildings are fashioned of bricks.

People in the town are pleased not only because they have the resources of "Aimer-de-la-vie," but also because they have the knowledge to take their lifestyle forward. Prior to the invention of cement, they utilized lime. Lime mortar and plaster reduced cement use while maintaining strength.

"Haha," I told you right, I'd tell you about an interesting topic this time.

"Hello...Hellllooooo..." are you hearing what I'm saying?

What are you staring at?

"Wow, I'm surprised," even someone like you who isn't surprised by anything is taken aback by the beauty of the Royal castle.

Now I am presenting to you the "Great Royal Castle of Aimer"

The architectural style of the Great Royal Castle of Aimer is the main attraction. It is a unique combination of Humans, elves, fairies, dwarfs, and many other tribes' architectures.

The black-and-white marble checkered floor, the four outstanding minarets at the corners of the mausoleum's plinth rising 100 meters high, and the strange center dome are all highlights. A variety of unique optical phenomena can be seen throughout the building, making it easily considered a true work of art.

The script of the ancient language and recovery spells, for example, appears to be uniform in height regardless of how far it is from the ground. That illusion is created by adjusting the distance between the letters and expanding it as needed.

The artwork of the dwarves and elves also contains fascinating geometric features.

There are around 500 inlaid gemstones in an area as small as 5 cm in some places inside the decorations. I advise that you check the minor details carefully; you will not be disappointed. Because you are standing before the "Great Royal Castle of Aimer"

However, we will not discuss the legendary mountain, the gorgeous brick houses, or the fascinating Royal Palace... because we're going to the fringes of this vast city, where huge animals and beasts roam free, rivers teeming with gigantic fish and other terrifying water lizards.

You may be wondering why we need to travel to these risky fringes when we have such a lovely town to enjoy.

The town may be beautiful, with a beautiful castle in the center surrounded by civilized people and their houses protected by well-built walls around the city, but we're going to focus our attention on a tree house made of broken woods and a window with nothing to close and unorganized materials lying in the floor.

Not the house itself, but the person residing there while surrounded by a deadly animal is what makes this tree house noteworthy.

"Don't stare at me, read it carefully or you will miss important points" not you, it is Gandalf shouting towards his son.

The old man we're talking about here is Gandalf. You might picture him holding a staff, sporting a white beard, and donning a robe that reaches his knees and is long-sleeved with a striking hood to give him an air of mystique. This robe, which extends from the head to the mid-calf, is intended to shield you from the elements while also giving a rich impression.

Unfortunately, our old man Gandalf is not wearing a robe, in fact, he is not wearing anything at all.

"No, you are mistaken," he is not a pervert; he is simply going to take a bath in a river teeming with gigantic fish and monstrous water lizards.

Don't be concerned about him; he's been doing this for nearly 30 years.

He heard a huge roar as he walked out the door of the tree house. This roar was so powerful and ferocious that even a regular human could feel the bloodlust in it.

Gandalf shouted without hesitation, "I got it, you're not interested in studying... You want to come and play in the river, okay, come," you might be perplexed by this strange response, but don't worry, I'll clear your doubt.

Jaguara, Gandalf's son, was the one who let forth the roar.

Jaguara is a beast. Gandalf rescued Jaguara as a pup from the depths of the aimer caves, and his parents died 10 years ago as a result of the unforeseen life energy depression triggered in the aimer forests' environment.

Jaguara walked down of the tree house happy after hearing Gandalf's words, because he may now play in the river and eat his favorite food "water lizards."

Jaguara is twice the size of a full man, with brownish-yellow fur and dark rosettes, and he walks up straight like a normal human. His hands feature a well-developed claw that appears to be capable of slicing a large boulder like a watermelon.

He walked carefully close to Gandalf before breaking into a run in the direction of the river.

Gandalf laughed at Jaguara's actions and took a slow walk towards the river.

When Gandalf entered the river, he found many pieces of ice floating in it; this was not due to the fact that it was winter; rather, it was the summer season.

So, why is there ice in the river?

Jaguara is casting frost spells to create an ice bullet in order to hunt the water lizards.

Why are you surprised?

Have you never seen a beast use ice magic before?

I can see how you would feel since most beasts are unable to cast spells, but Jaguara is an exception because he was raised by Gandalf and was forced to learn magic because Gandalf enjoys reading magic books.

Gandalf was surprised to see a red water lizard appear in front of Jaguara, but Jaguara had the opposite reaction, he appeared to be quite joyful.

Gandalf was surprised because red water lizards are rare and more powerful than normal water lizards, but red water lizards are Jaguara's favorite food; red water lizards are not only strong but also very intelligent; if they find they can't defeat an enemy, they will flee immediately, so Jaguara has only one chance; he must one-shot it or lose his most favorite food.

So Jaguara decided to cast a high-class frost spear magic, to be honest, a normal class frost spear magic is enough to take down a red water lizard. But Jaguara not planning to make a miss here, so he launched the ice spear with full force. The ice spear hit the target and made a hole in its chest and hit the rock behind the red water lizard.

The ice after hitting the wall shattered into many pieces and flew everywhere. One huge piece of ice flew into the bushes, and a bright light came from the bush and vaporized the huge ice piece completely.

Gandalf and Jaguara watched this and immediately decided to check the bush, Gandalf noticed the ice spear was vaporized by a high-level protective barrier. So, he was curious to see who cast the protective barrier.

When Gandalf and Jaguara saw what was inside the bush, they were both got surprised, they started looking at each other because they both have no idea what to do…
