Amil went on a killing spree, fighting with the hobgoblins higher his level not only made his skills level up but his proficiency in fighting too. Earlier, he used to get 2 stat points every kill from level 6 but now that also stopped for God knows what reasons. Amil thought that his stats had become very good in comparison to level 6 that's why he may get a bottleneck of stats soon.
The other level 6 kobold just looked at him with wide eyes not understanding why they were stuck to fighting with only one enemy for so long even when they were using weapons other than Amil who used nails and punches to fight.
Just then, everyone froze feeling an intimidating aura, Amil looked towards his mother who was standing just some inches away from the ogre. Kamil's height was smaller than the ogre's, but not as big as an orc's height. She looked at it with a crazy grin to which the ogre kept reciprocating showing his many big yellow teeth.
Without warning, Kamil pounced at it with electricity all around her body, especially her fists. The ogre wasn't dilly-dallying, he gave a big war cry, and its fists started materializing some dark aura that flowed around it like a coating. Kamil didn't know what it was, nor did she care. She finally became a blur moving at such a speed that Amil couldn't follow.
Kamil went for the ogre's shoulder but surprisingly, he tightened his biceps moving his left hand with the black aura oozing, towards her attack trajectory guarding himself.
Kamil couldn't stop in time, attacking with her left fist. On contact with the black aura, her hand's knuckles cracked making pop sounds. She backed to the previous position looking at the 2 broken fingers. Amil couldn't believe that her mother was injured.
But in 3 seconds, the sound of pop came again, she had regenerated herself in an instant. Amil couldn't remember when she drank a potion and decided to ask her later.
"I did well by coming here, giving me a good fight after so long. It only means I should not hold back now." Kamil said while moving her now regenerated hand getting a feel of it. She made a hand action waving it a little, 5 fire spears formed above her head ready to pounce.
The ogre looked at them with surprise seeing something like this for the first time. Kamil waved her finger a little and the fire spears moved. They started hovering over the ogre's head at Kamil's command. She kept wavering her fingers as if controlling them like a puppet.
One of the spears attacked the ogre when he was looking at her fingers. It hit his back making a loud sound, with fire spreading burning the skin to crisp. The ogre grunted showing the pain that he was feeling because of her. He was just going to move but stopped and frowned.
CRACK
The ground below his feet cracked a little, he could feel his weight increasing. He looked at the female kobold looking at him with a vicious grin. He knew she did something with him. Amil had seen it before, Kamil had used her gravity manipulation skill.
"Just how much mana does she have?" He exclaimed totally surprised. She was using two very strong skills together.
"You haven't seen anything till now, little bastard. Your mother hasn't shown many skills till now" Amil heard an old voice. Looking at the side, he saw Ekrem observing his mother's fight with narrowed eyes.
He didn't say anything and kept looking.
"You know, I saw a new style of fighting today. That too from my son, so let's see how good it is." The grin on her face increased. Waving her index finger a little, 2 spears started to move stopping near the ogre's two big eyes. He could feel the blazing fire coated with mana near him and panicked thinking it could burst anytime. Kamil didn't wait and motioned her finger again. The 2 spears moved and pierced the eyes of the ogre, screams of agony resounded everywhere.
Amil felt a shiver down his spine, thinking 'Am I really this ruthless?'
He was not the only one as everyone looked at her with a pale face. Only Drax looked at the scene with amusement knowing her wife well.
The ogre lost his concentration, falling to the ground with a loud sound. Kamil went near him, standing right above the kneeling ogre. For the first time in the fight, she materialized her weapon, the sword looked normal but the hilt was made in a mouth-looking design.
"You have fought well entertaining me all this while, now I shall give you a warrior's death relieving you of your pain." She said with eyes closed and thrusted the sword vertically to the neck. It pierced cleanly getting out from the throat. The ogre first had an expression of surprise and slowly his eyes closed. It went limp on the ground with no soul to resist the pressure of the increased gravity.
Kamil took a deep breath. The hobgoblins, goblins, and kobolds looked at the dead ogre on the ground with different emotions.
The ogre was a sense of pride for the goblin tribe, they felt that they were destined to become the greatest with his help. Seeing him dead on the ground scarred all the goblin's hearts. The kobolds on the other hand had looked at how strong the black aura was but Kamil destroyed him in minutes. Many felt pride, some envy, yearning for the same strength.
"What are you all waiting for, Finish the war!" Kamil shouted making everyone wake from their daze. Amil went to killing more level 6s until there was no left.
He saw many from his tribes enter the huts coming out with more blood on them, he knew that they were killing the goblin children. It was a myth, but no one dared to break it except the uneducated battle-crazed kid of the kobold tribe.
"Amil! I finally leveled up!" Gaghan said chirping happily, she had finally reached level 5. Making a small fireball after 10 seconds and showing it to Amil with proudness, he did not know whether to laugh or cry.
"I will one day catch up to you, see how I will beat your ass then!"
"I will wait for that day"
He talked with her for a while keeping her company. Until he saw her sister, curiosity got the better of him. Amil went running yet ditching Gaghan again. Gaghan had a hidden glint in her eyes.
'One day I will reach your strength and we will go on adventures together…. forever'
"Hey! Big sis, wait!"
Emil saw him reaching and smiled waving at him. Then she remembered what happened before and looked at him seriously.
"You have come to have some explanation about earlier, right?"
Amil nodded.
"Listen Amil, the tribe doesn't care when you fight somewhere alone. But when you are in fights like this, you have to be in your hierarchy. Did you observe that a level 8 from our tribe was going to attack the hobgoblin when you pounced at it without any notice? I had to make him understand to let go. They need to level up too you know. There were clearly not many levels 8 hobgoblins here and you killed one of them alone hoarding all the EXP."
Emil stopped when she saw Amil nodding in understanding. She knew it was not his fault, staying alone all this while made some new habits unknowingly.
'Then I will just kill them alone' Amil thought while going to the huts one by one with Emil in hope of getting some good stuff like before.
