I didn't know how long Keenan had been standing there but I didn't mind since I wasn't doing anything bad just that, I was nervous because I was fixed in between their stares.
"Anyways, go and see a doctor", I said to him and left to my seat. He got up from the floor and walked out of the class but pushed Keenan was was leaning on the door. Keenan ignored him this time and walked quietly to his seat. I felt he wanted to talk but he didn't know how to start the conversation so I started for him.
"What grudge is between both of you… I mean you and Ryan ?", I questioned him.
"What were you doing with him there?", he threw a question back at me. I knew he would be curious as to why I was standing beside someone who always made my life miserable.
"Why don't you answer me first since I questioned you first?"
"Then just forget it", he seemed not to be ready to talk about their grudge but curiousity was killing me too.
"Well, he suddenly fell unconscious so I just helped him", I simply said.
"Did you say he fell unconscious?", he asked looking interested in the issue.
"Yes, why?"
"Did you see him coughing before passing out?", he asked.
"How..how did you know?", I asked him confused.
"So he did cough… I thought it was over", he said almost like a whisper but I could hear him.
"What was over?", I asked him.
"Nothing , just forget it"
"So can you tell me why both of you are not in good terms?", I asked raising a brow.
"I might tell you later not now", he said and walked out of the class in haste. I didn't know where he was going but I didn't bother to think about it either. But his reaction earlier was as if he cared about Ryan or he knows something about what happened to him.
The class was getting full so I shoved off the thought so that I could concentrate on my academics since that was the reason why I was sent to school. Keenan and Ryan did not appear during the first lesson which got me worried. I was thinking maybe they were having their usual fight or something while we were in class. I noticed Ryder and Reuben also had a worried look on their faces while staring at Ryan's empty desk. I didn't know what was going on but I wasn't in the right position to deal with others while I had myself to fix. Class continued as usual even though they were not around. Immediately it was time for lunch, I hurried to Jennie to ask her if she had heard anything unusual but she was just as lost as I was.
I decided to ask Jennie about the issue between Ryan and Keenan but she shut me up saying I should be careful when talking about those two.
"Let's go to the cafeteria ", she said and we walked out. On our way, she started to explain certain things between the two guys to me which I couldn't clearly understand so I asked her to speak clearly so I could get what sh was driving at.
"There's a history between those two guys that almost everyone in the school knows about. The only people who don't know about it are the new students who were admitted recently.", she paused.
"And since I'm part of those recently admitted students, I don't know what it is that's why I am asking you to tell me", I urged her to continue talking.
