Chapter 14 - Suspicion

"Don't even think about leaving!" Zhu Lin held an iron rod in his hand and led more than twenty hooligans to seal their entrance. No matter how good this woman was at fighting, he did not believe that she could defeat so many of them alone!

"Didn't I ask the driver to deal with you guys? Why are you still here?" Tang Shun was confused and felt guilty. There were so many people. Were they really going to die here?

Tang Shu sneered in her heart. "Is there a need to ask? The rats are already crawling in front of us. Of course, something happened to the person in charge of watching the rats."

She grabbed Tang Shun backhanded to make sure he would not give her any trouble if they got into a fight. Then she looked provocatively at Zhu Lin, who was the leader. "Are you going to die together?"

Zhu Lin instinctively cringed, but if he admitted defeat in front of so many people, he would not have the face to mingle in the underworld anymore.

He raised his iron rod and pointed at Tang Shu. "Brothers, break their legs!"

More than twenty people swarmed forward in an aggressive manner. They already felt that Zhu Lin had mobilized a little too many people. Why would he need so many people to deal with a man and a woman?

Tang Shu grabbed Tang Shun with one hand and grabbed an iron rod with the other. She kicked the other party's vital parts fiercely. While the other party was in pain and relaxed, she snatched the iron rod and handed it to Tang Shun.

"For self-defense."

Tang Shun took it in disbelief. When did his sister become so strong? Was this still his gentle and weak sister?

Tang Shu did not have time to be in a daze. If she was alone, she would be able to resolve this small situation quickly. However, she still had to bring along Tang Shun, this burden, and it was a little difficult to deal with him.

The reason why Tang Shu brought Tang Shun out of the car was that she was afraid that something would happen to Tang Shun if he was alone in the car. At that time, she would still have to save him. Instead of causing trouble, it was better to tie him tightly to her.

She pulled Tang Shun around. The iron rod barely brushed past her temple and hit the ground hard.

Tang Shu raised her leg and kicked the other party's abdomen, causing him to vomit a mouthful of blood and be unable to stand up again.

At this moment, everyone finally understood why Zhu Lin had brought so many men.

This woman was difficult to deal with. She was extremely skilled. Surrounded by so many of them, she could still beat them until they could not get close and there was nothing they could do.

Tang Shu was extremely calm. She did not show any mercy and quickly scanned her surroundings. She aimed at a gap in the encirclement and pulled Tang Shun out of the crowd.

Tang Shun shouted at Tang Shu. The hooligans who originally did not want to take their lives only wanted to teach this woman a lesson and avenge their injured brothers. For a moment, no one cared about him.

Tang Shu released her right hand and could finally show off her skills. As a bounty hunter in her previous life, her experience and methods of killing were not something these hooligans could compare to. She stopped fighting and quickly dealt with these twenty people.

Tang Shun leaned against the wall to support his trembling body. His heart sank as he looked at his sister standing alone amid the wailing.

Tang Shu kicked Zhu Lin away and walked to Tang Shun's side to support his trembling body.

"Who are you?" Tang Shun coughed lightly, holding his aching chest, and squeezing out the words with difficulty.

Tang Shu suddenly stopped in her tracks. She lowered her head and looked at Tang Shun coldly. "I'm Tang Shu."

Tang Shun looked straight at her. There was no emotion in his eyes, but his mind was in turmoil.

His rebirth could no longer be explained by science. He originally thought that this was a blessing from the heavens for him to be reborn. However, after his rebirth, Tang Shun slowly realized that he was not the only one who was different from his previous life. Tang Shu was also different.

In his previous life, his soft-hearted sister had single-handedly overturned the encirclement of more than twenty people.

The most logical explanation he could think of was that she was no longer his sister. Or that her sister had been reborn. The thought lingered in his mind. The more he thought about it, the more alarmed he became.

Tang Shun swallowed with difficulty and moistened his dry throat. He stared into her eyes seriously and asked the question in his heart again, insisting on an answer, "Who are you?"

Tang Shu let go of his hand and bent down to smile sweetly. "Brother, I'm your sister."
