Rowan felt his sanity snap the second he lost the pack connection with Mila. He sat at his desk in silence for a while.
Minutes later, he stood up. The more furious he was, the greener and brighter his eyes glowed.
The security team member outside Rowan’s door staggered and sent a distress signal to Josiah.
Josiah ran to the Alpha’s office. The surge of raw power was almost like a barrier. The Beta of White Claw swore out loud.
‘Mila, you have no idea the leash you had on this guy just by being here,’ Josiah mentally lamented.
Without wasting a breath, Josiah got the attention of the security team member.
“It’s okay. Go to the Head of Security and let them know no one goes in or out of the pack without us knowing about it, even if they are a dignitary who came for the wedding. I’ll be there in about five minutes,” Josiah instructed.
Taking a deep breath, Josiah walked into his friend’s office.
Rowan looked up. Josiah sucked in a breath. He knelt on one knee.
