Perhaps it was one of those moments when words are no longer necessary. When actions are quite clear and when the eyes talk for the heart, I guess to say I love him would be futile anymore. He already felt it, quite an opposite to what I was worrying.
"I won't say you're wrong." – I added and there was a hint of a smile on his face.
"wow… you… you make me happy."
I smiled. I held his other hand. Despite the increasing temperature brought by the air conditioner inside the room, I feel warm. The touch of skin and the prolonged eye contact, it was all great.
Not until my phone rang, cutting the air of affection between us. When I received the call, it was from Zyra. I cleared my throat and stood up, moved to the door and spoke.
"what is it?"
"miss Dana, everyone's looking for you already. The branch managers have something for you to sign on."
"you have my signature stamp, why not just use that?"
