As he swung the door open, he was met with the warm embrace of his mother. "Tenji, we're home!" she exclaimed, pulling him into a tight hug. "We missed you so much!"
'What the fuck is wrong with you, mother? Why are you being nice?' Tenji hides his discomfort with a plastered grin.
Tenji forces a smile as he returns the embrace, feeling a sense of discomfort in his mother's arms. He couldn't help but feel flustered, knowing that Maiyu was still in the living room, and his family had just arrived unexpectedly. He pulled away from his mother, feeling a bead of sweat trickle down the back of his neck.
