"I'm not here mainly for your sake, but for my plans and I found it," Dazai replied with a smirk.
'It? Dai is your target, huh?' Tenji thought.
"You know, I'm beginning to think I should have killed you right then and there." Tenji's eyes glowed green as he spoke, his lips curled upwards in amusement, and his mind began working overtime to figure out how he could exploit this situation to his advantage before settling on something: "If you can beat me in a one-on-one fight, I'll give you another opportunity!" He says this while pointing at himself and staring at Dazai, who initially looked at him blankly without saying anything because he was still reeling from the shock.
"What do you mean by 'one on one'?" Dazai asks, confused.
"I want you to face me alone without any help or interference from anyone else. If you win, I will let you go free and leave with Dai unharmed," Tenji replies with an amused smile forming across his lips.
