Han still did not give up, even in this situation. This surprised me. Previously Devin shot his hand and leg and literally saw that he was bleeding from his hand and leg. Because of the darkness, I did not get to see his condition that clearly.
They couldn't see us because we were so high off the ground and surrounded by leaves on all sides. They are moving forward in the dark in search of treasure. I went to Devin's side and tried to wake him up. Devin quickly woke up with one try.
"What happened? Have any wild animals approached us?" He asked me. I signal him to stay silent and point my finger toward those people. Devin looks in the direction where I was pointing my finger. He also noticed fire torches. He turned around and looked at me.
"Because of the darkness, I could not see them clearly, but I got a quick glimpse of them. As you can guess, they were Han's and his subordinates." I told him what I saw earlier. He just nodded and then focused his eyes on those fire torches. Well, right now I have only one question in my mind: what if those people find the cave? Devin then turns down and told me,
"Don't worry, they won't be able to find the cave at this time."
He confidently said this to me. I don't know how he got this confidence, but I believed in him. Devin then told me to rest. Well, I also feel sleepy, so wasting no time I lay down beside uncle Steven. Well, the decision to put off the fire was really the right decision that Devin made. Why I am thinking all of this, I don't even get to know when I fell asleep.
_______________
Next day,
I wake up from my sleep hearing Devin's call. I woke up and saw that the sun had not yet risen. There is still some darkness around. It's just dawned, but the sun hasn't risen yet. "
"Hurry up and get ready. We need to get out now. If we don't get out now, we won't be able to find that cave." That's when he fell to the ground. I also washed my face quickly without wasting time.
In no time, the three of us started walking again. I see what I see when I look at the sky. One moment he is looking towards the east and the next moment he is looking in the opposite direction. I didn't understand what he was doing, but I didn't ask him anything. I think Devin realized something, so he looks east once and west again.
Suddenly, he stopped and pointed his finger westward and said, "Hurry up and see what that is." Uncle Steven and I quickly looked over and saw something glinting through the woods. I looked at Devin and went to ask him what that was, but before I could ask, he told me,
"That's the cave we're looking for. Hurry, that way, we have little time or we'll be lost again in this dense forest."
Hearing this, I don't know why my mind became excited. I don't know how Devin realized that this was the cave we were looking for, but we started running towards it without any hesitation through that dense forest. We are running towards that shining place. It seems as if someone has placed many mirrors in that place and the morning light falls on those mirrors and reflects all around. I don't know why I suddenly got so much energy, but this time I am running through this thick forest in that direction. Uncle Steven is running with me, even with his injured leg.
After a while, the place is no longer glowing, but Devin runs towards it too. We did not stop and ran after him. After a while, we came, and we all stopped. Because there is a cliff in front of us. From here, the mountain is somewhat straight. At this time Devin looked upward, and he smiled. I don't know what happened, so I also look up. Only then do I understand what happened. Because we finally found the cave that was mentioned on the map.
"Haha, what did I tell you?" Deven turned around and looked at me, then he said all of this with a smile. Unfortunately, we don't have any rope with us because right now we needed to climb this straight part of the mountain to reach that cave. I was about to ask Dan what to do now, but I saw him going toward the straight part of the mountain and standing there. The cave is above his head and he is standing on the ground below the cave. The cave is about twenty-five feet above the ground. I saw Devin start walking to his left from where he was standing. Uncle Steven and I looked at each other as neither of us understood what was going through Devin's head. But we did not ask him anything and started walking behind him.
We are now a hundred feet away from that cave. At this point, Devin stopped because there was a big rock in front of him. Suddenly, he started laughing. I did not understand the reason for this smile, so I asked him what happened.
"Haha, hey buddy, still don't get it? We have to go through this to get the treasure." He said this and pointed to the stone.
"Which direction would you like to go? Ahead is dense forest again. Do we have to go back into that jungle?" I asked him, as I didn't understand what direction he was talking about.
"No, why go into the forest? We'll have to go through it," he said and pointed again at the rock.
"Are you talking about this rock? Are you crazy? How are we going to get through the rock?" I asked him a bit angrily. I didn't understand any of his expressions, so I got a little angry. He doesn't even say the same thing.
