3rd person POV:
Devon Jack and uncle Steven were searching for a cave on this mountain. This cave wasn't your normal cave because this cave is the entrance to a secret room that will lead to king Alexander's treasures. It was mentioned in the Treasure map that the entrance of the cave will look like the mouth of a tiger.
The major problem is that the map doesn't say exactly where to find the cave. There is only a cross mark on this hill and there is a picture of a cave like a tiger's mouth. So Devin Jack and Uncle Steven go through this dense forest to find that cave. The trees in this mountain are very deep compared to the forest below, and the entire mountain is full of trees and forest. That's why Devin and Jack continue through the forest in search of the cave.
After two hours, they are now resting. After searching for so long, they couldn't find anything. With so many trees falling, you can't even see anything far away. They had water and food, so they didn't have to stress about it.
"Devin, we are in trouble trying to find this cave. I don't know where to find this cave, brother. It is already difficult to move through this dense forest and we cannot find the cave in it. Jack said to Devin.
"Haha, hey Jack, why are you getting impatient so quickly? If we found it so easily, then this treasure hunt wouldn't be fun. One thing you think about is how clever king Alexander was. He built a cave in such a mountain and hid his treasure there. When we become so impatient that we have nothing to do. We will have to be patient to find that cave. " Devin said these things to Jack. After saying that, he looked up at the sky. The sun is still shining, but it will soon be dark.
"We'll have to find a place to stay. It's going to be pitch black in a little while and I don't want to be walking in the woods in the dark. You've seen how many poisonous snakes there are here. And here there are not only snakes, but also many other poisonous insects. We need to make accommodations soon." Devin said to Jack. He stood up from his seat and looked around. In fact, he saw if he could find a good place where they could stay. But after taking a good look around, he took a deep breath. He can't find any good place with only thick forest all around.
"Can't see a good place anywhere. Looks like we'll have to settle for a place to stay today," He said to Jack. It will be dark in no time, so Devin doesn't want to waste his time and quickly wants to get a place to stay. They have already cleared the area around where they are resting now. So Devin specified that they would make their stay here.
Devin and Jack got to work. It is not safe to stay on the ground in such a forest, so they plan to build a treehouse. Not such a big treehouse, but a small one. They only talk about spending tonight. Fortunately, there are many trees nearby, so he had no trouble making them. It took them an hour to make it.
Fortunately, they had carbolic acid. Uncle Steven puts it in his coat pocket by mistake and he never got a chance to get it out. Devin took the carbolic acid and spread it around so that no snakes would come near them. He also found Citronella grass. It will work as a lotion and keep away mosquitoes and many other insects from them.
In no time, it was completely dark. Devin gathers wood and starts a fire. A rabbit that was seen a while ago is now being cooked. After some time, they finished eating and drinking and now they are sitting in their treehouse. They all use Citronella grass as a body lotion. Well, this will keep out those dangerous insects. Devin also puts out the fire. He didn't want to light a fire today because their enemies could find them by seeing this fire. They are not alone in this forest. Han and his followers, the Nimu tribesmen, are all in this jungle and Devin doesn't want to take any chances.
It was decided that Devin would sleep until midnight while Jack would stand guard. Uncle Steven and Devin were already asleep. Now only Jack is awake and watching around. Coming into this dark forest, you can hear various sounds. This sound can make anyone's blood run cold. But Jack calmed his mind and gripped the gun in his hand. This gun is Uncle Seven's now that he carries. Anyone with a gun has courage. After doing this, he started looking around until midnight. But in the middle of the night, he suddenly heard a noise. This sound is the sound of footsteps. But now the main question is, who can be tonight?
Making no sound, he continues to listen to the footstep. It's not just one footstep, he's hearing two or three footsteps. And those footsteps are coming towards them. Jack stared into the dark forest without saying a word. The footsteps are coming from that direction.
In no time, he saw four torches, and four men holding those torches. Jack couldn't see them well in the darkness, but he knew who they were when he saw the guns on the backs of the three men. The person in the middle is Han and the rest are his followers. Jack couldn't see their current situation because of the darkness, but he caught a glimpse. They have blood on their clothes and their condition did not seem to be alright. But that's normal. It was only natural that they would be like this if the Nimu tribesmen chased after them.
But to anyone's surprise, Han hasn't given up yet.
