'Wow! The scenery here is really beautiful!" Loraine exclaimed and everyone agreed.
The climb here was worth it.
There was a 360-degree panoramic view of the neighboring towns and they were so high up that it was as if heaven was so close.
The towns below looked so small as if throwing a stone or two could demolish them.
They could also see another mountain while they were at the summit.
It was the location of waterfalls known as the 'Great Falls,' another famous tourist attraction for mountaineers and waterfalls lovers.
The Great Falls were already visible even at this distance and they could already tell how powerful it was from this angle.
They could go there as well, but it would be more difficult than climbing where they are now.
It would be something for later once they have fully rested.
Her guards would have to go and inspect it again first before they could head there.
As soon as they arrived, the people who had been waiting for them immediately approached them.
"Miss Loraine, everything is ready in the house," Ms. Lorna said. She was the vice-captain of her guards.
"Well done. Can we go there now and rest?" Loraine asked and everyone agreed.
They had been outside in the sun for hours. They needed rest.
Several bungalows were scattered across the top of the mountain.
The bungalow Sarah prepared for Loraine was on the right side.
It was surrounded by a lot of trees, sporadic wildflowers, and a vegetable garden on the side.
It was the perfect place for the leisure days and rest she had been craving her whole life.
Loraine entered the house and examined the furniture and designs.
They were all very nice and comfy. The design also did not conflict with the scenery outside but complimented it instead.
Her employees worked efficiently.
Knowing that she was here for leisure and wanted a more relaxing scenery, they had already changed all of the furniture to make it comfy.
They also bought all of the supplies they would need.
The house was not even as large as her room in the mansion but at least, it had a comfortable and relaxing vibe.
Since the house could be considered tiny when compared to the main Antares estate, only Loraine, Sarah, Ms. Lorna, and Mr. Mo could stay.
Her other bodyguards stayed in different accommodations. Some stayed in a nearby bungalow, some in a hotel, and others stayed in the employee's quarters.
All of Loraine's bodyguards possessed unique skills and were adept at disguising themselves.
Their abilities were all very useful in protecting her wherever she went.
And that was also why their salaries were very high.
They had so much more salary than Loraine ever had in her previous life.
She was kind of envious of them. But then again, she was their boss now. And she had a lot of money.
So much so that Sarah could simply buy a house for Loraine whenever she traveled.
Being rich was awesome! And Loraine absolutely loved it.
The vice-captain came forward to report after Loraine had finished looking around the house and was ready to rest.
It seemed she had something important to say so Loraine nodded for her to speak.
"Miss Loraine, it appears that another group of people is already protecting this area. Their key area of protection is on the left side."
'Huh?
Someone came here before us?!
And here I thought no one from such families would be here in the mountains,' Loraine dreaded.
She absolutely does not want to encounter them.
She came here for rest and would rather not waste time entertaining a selfish spoiled brat from another affluent family.
"How about the skills of those people? Are they good?" Mr. Mo asked.
He was instantly concerned about Loraine's security. He was perfect as the head of her personal guards.
"It appears to be a little higher than us.
We didn't notice them immediately after arriving here."
Lorna admitted with a look of embarrassment since Loraine was listening to them. But she still spoke since Loraine needed to know about this too so she would not be careless.
"Oh my. That's quite a surprise.
Who would come here to the mountains too?
Did you see who they are protecting?" Loraine inquired.
Who the hell would have guards stronger than hers - the daughter of one of the richest billionaires in the country?
"No, Miss Loraine. We did not see anyone going out.
Whoever it was had been staying indoors," Lorna informed.
"Then let's just be careful and avoid them.
It's better not to get into a conflict with the other side.
I'm here to rest.
So, as long as they don't do anything to us, keep things amicable," Loraine instructed.
"Yes, Miss Loraine," Lorna and Mr. Mo agreed.
There was no need to provoke the other side especially when Lorna admitted that they were stronger.
'Haish. And here I thought I could simply relax and laze off for days here.
Why would someone come here?
And with very capable people too.
My guards were hired by the former owner's father so everyone was capable.
How could the guards from the left side be stronger than them?
Did we accidentally come into the den of criminals or something?' Loraine wondered in dread.
After all, the guards that Rand Antares, a multibillionaire, hired for his one and only beloved daughter, were of course the cream of the crop.
And yet, the guards on the other side were still stronger.
Lorna said a bit. But that 'bit' could make a huge difference. Especially since Mr. Mo and everyone else were all strong and capable people who had years to decades of training and experience.
It meant Loraine may have encountered someone powerful like Rand Antares here.
It was better to be careful and avoid trouble.
Loraine had just transmigrated here. There was no need to put her life at risk when she was just beginning a new life.
'Haish. No more carefree tours here. Damn it!'
Reality slapped Loraine in the face as soon as she arrived.
This was her first tour too. What a cruel way to say her dreams for a carefree and lazy life wouldn't go as planned.
