Leo didn't want to engage in head on fight since he only had 1 functioning arm and was weaker than the tiger.
' I have to find an opening '
Leo thought while eyeing the beast.
He suddenly threw one of his daggers towards the beast and took out another from his Inventory before dashing towards it. The beast easily dodged the first dagger, but underestimated Leo's lightning affinity speed and paid for it with a large wound on its side.
Roaring in pain the beast got serious and finally looked at Leo as an opponent not a mouse. They interlocked eyes, but as soon as their eyes met the beast strangely felt inferior to this puny being, it felt like the beast was forced to bow down.
Roaring in rage, the beast one again dashed towards Leo, but this time with intention to end the battle. Leo threw himself to the side and kicked towards the tiger's left shoulder. The beast was thrown a few meters, but before Leo recovered to his defense position it once again leapt towards Leo.
' Fuck '
He cursed inside before throwing his last dagger towards the beast and dashing to the side. Since the beast was in the air and couldn't dodge, the dagger landed on its belly damaging, but not cutting it.
Left with no weapon Leo slowly started retreating towards the dagger he threw earlier in the fight with his head facing the beast. The tiger didn't allow it and jumped at Leo baring its teeth.
Leo managed to avoid the mouth of the beast, but was struck by its claws. Leo lifelessly fell on the ground, he couldn't even lift a finger. The blood kept gushing out of his wound like a fountain.
Leo saw the beast slowly approaching him. Its facial structure looked like a smirk. Gritting his teeth Leo tried to stand up, but fell over - his legs gave out.
' Is this... where I fall? '
Leo thought, closing his eyes to contain rage.
' No! '
He shouted inside before trying to stand up again.
He was now in the sitting position, but the beast was a few meters away.
' Ah Fuck, sorry brother I couldn't save you '
He cursed and closed his eyes.
Suddenly he felt his whole body heat up and energy started automatically circulating through his body. It reached every single body part and cell.
Beast who was a few meters away from Leo felt danger from Leo and retreated a few steps. The tiger saw Leo opening his eyes and the world around it went black. It felt fear, such fear that it fainted. The last thing the tiger saw was a pair of 2 purple, predatory eyes seemingly looking at its soul.
Leo was momentarily stunned by beasts fall, but came back from his thoughts when felt that he was full of energy and glanced at his wounds. The bleeding stopped and his wounds started slowly healing. Looking at his body Leo noticed that his skin was smoother and after touching it, he felt that it was sturdier as well.
Leo slowly stood up and went to retrieve his daggers before approaching the beast, killing it and taking its tooth.
Leo felt his watch vibrate and lifted his arm to look at it.

Leo was happy that he awakened a special ability, but his happiness was short lived, because he saw the potential his ability had. Transformation ability users had the same ranking system as beasts. Magical being the lowest and Calamity being the Strongest possible Rank. Little does Leo know, humans can only scan a specific amount of ability particles and the Calamity beast potential is not possible for humans to scan, hence the watch didn't notice the potency of these particles and graded his potential as the lowest rank.
While Leo was reading the message he noticed that his band now had 2 colors in it - Purple and White. It had to be noted that his hair turned completely white and his eyes became even shinier.
After healing his wounds Leo was felt fatigued, hence walked towards the Astrum Base. He was greeted by 2 guards waiting near gates, they asked him if he was alright, because of the condition his clothes were in, but seeing he had no wounds and scanning his watch they let him in.
After closing his room's door Leo went to bed instantly. He didn't even notice a strange thing at the bottom of his sight.

After a few hours of sleep Leo woke up feeling fatigued, the previous fight consumed a lot of his stamina, but just a few hour sleep made half of his fatigue go away.
First time in a few days Leo went to inspect himself in front of the mirror and was surprised. His body looked much leaner, his facial features were sharper. but most importantly his eyes were purple and his hair were white.
' What the hell happened to me '
He thought and turned on his watch.

Suddenly Leo noticed a weird number in the right corner of his sight. He blinked a few times, it didn't disappear, he tried to grab it with his hand, but it wasn't tangible. After a few minutes the number went up.
