Leo quickly finished drying his hair and put on the academy's uniform. Leaving the apartment he saw a few students carrying some stuff towards the rooms.
Leo, who wasn't a fan of interacting with others, slipped past them without making eye contact or greeting them.
On his way towards block I, Leo saw a huge construction which reminded him of the colosseum from the history books. Above the entrance to the building there were 2 words written in huge letters 'Battle Arena'. Leo heard some sounds of weapons clashing from the Arena's direction, but had no time to investigate further, hence shook his head and kept on walking.
11:45 AM
Leo was approaching a square shaped, medium-sized building. While entering the facility Mana once again enveloped him, searching for the sigil. Inside the building there were multiple corridors that led to many rooms. Near each door there were a few couches that one could sit on.
Leo quickly found Room 48 and sat on one of the couches. Sitting to his left there was a youth with blond hair and blue eyes, he had an aura of a noble around him. Few minutes passed in silence when the noble's watch started vibrating.
When the clock ticked 11:50 AM a beautiful, cyan-haired girl exited one of the rooms. Leo's eyes were quickly drawn towards her watch, its band was different from normal ones' which were black colored. The girl's band's color was a light shade of blue.
Leo didn't understand why its color was different, but heard a blond-haired boy sneer at the girl before entering one of the rooms. Looking at the girl's back Leo thought about all possible meanings of the colors on the bands. In the end he came to a conclusion that the color represented one's affinity. Light Blue being a Water affinity with strong Ice Sub-affinity.
11:55 AM
Leo's watch vibrated letting him know that it's his time to enter. Opening the door Leo saw a square-shaped space with walls made out of one-way mirrors. In the middle of the room there was a strange orb which looked like a glass basketball ball with an oddly relaxing glow.
Suddenly a voice rang out from the speaker located at the corner of the room.
" That, before you is an Elemental Orb, it will provide us information regarding your affinity and talent "
" Touch the orb with one hand and keep still for a minute "
Listening to the instructions Leo slowly put his hand on the orb. The orb lit up with a white color which glowed for a few seconds. A minute later scroll and a new white color watch band appeared floating above Leo. While Leo was investigating this weird phenomenon a voice spoke once again.
" Lightning affinity, Elementalist Rank Talent. Please, equip your watch with the new band and the watch will unlock a new feature called 'Inventory' which will allow you to put non-living things in it. The scroll is a Mana circulation technique. We highly recommend keeping it inside inventory until you are back at your room. More information regarding academy and other stuff will be sent within 30 minutes from now on "
Leo followed the instructions of the voice - equipped a new band and put the scroll inside the Inventory. He could see a scroll disappearing right before his eyes, but didn't feel amazed - it all felt numb to him. He left the room right after completing the instructions.
The trip back to the apartment felt blurry for Leo, he saw nothing except for the path. If he would've lifted his head he would've met many stares directed at him. One has to know that Lightning affinity is a rare one. There are 4 main, Fire, Wind, Water and earth Earth affinities. Special affinities are very rare, but powerful, there are 5 known special affinities - Darkness, Light, Lightning, Gravity and Space.
Leo on the other hand was not thinking about affinity, so what if you have the rarest element ? Without a good talent you can't cultivate past a certain point.
Closing and locking his apartment's door he sat on the ground. Leo was extremely unsatisfied with his talent. Elementalist rank is considered to be a low tier talent. Having a low tier talent doesn't align with his goals to become the strongest being on the planet and find his brother.
Leo gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, to calm down. 6 years ago he swore to himself to become the strongest one way or another. A mere potential will not chain him down, he'll break it with his own hands and hard work.
While encouraging himself to move forward Leo felt the watch vibrating on his wrist. His information was updated and he received a mission.

Starter Mission:
1. Awaken Mana and evolve to Awakener's rank
2. Travel to the Outer region of North America ( Magical Beast territory ) using a teleport provided by the academy.
3. Kill 20 or more predatory beasts and store 1tooth from each beast in the inventory. If a student is caught with more than 1 tooth from the same beast, he'll automatically fail and his score will be 0.
4. Your achievements will be graded on the first day in class.
Failure Penalty :
1. Deduction of Pecunias ( Depends On The amount of beast teeth you lack ).
Reward:
1. Depends on the beasts you defeat and the quantity of them.
Time Limit:
6 Days 22 Hours 37 Minutes 17 Seconds
Students must be in the classroom when the time limit runs out.

Even though Leo was in a sour mood he got himself together. He made himself lunch and made plans for the next week.

3. Hunt a high number of beasts.
