One of the board members drew my attention. His face has a smug smile as he tries to remain professional. But I can tell each and every one of the men surrounding the table is enjoying my temporary embarrassment. “We have all been very patient with the way you have chosen to handle things—”
“However,” another male voice begins. “We have all noticed a great decline in your company's numbers and cannot further ignore it. What are your plans, exactly, to fix this issue?”
“Gentlemen, you all seem to forget the plan I had put forth some weeks ago—” I begin explaining with a smile on my face, my arms folded in front of me as I sit at the long end of the meeting table.
“Oh, we’re all well aware of your intention to make Leona luna of the Seoh pack and allow the finances from Carmine and Amethyst to help you. However, as you said, it has been weeks, and there is yet to be any new development on that front.”
“It’s… a delicate procedure.”
