"Black Black sheep, have you any wool" Hayden shouted as he walked off towards his brother, he didn't want to hear what she was saying.
"Fuck she's right". He mumbled to himself as he got closer to Hunter. But quickly he casted such thoughts away before its dampens his mood. He had one more fan to ask how he loved his fight and if it was entertaining.
"How was my fight brother?" Hayden quickly ran to his side as Ophelia began to trot off with Amelia by her side.
"It was good man, at least you can hold your own". Hunter said with a grin.
"We use to be a good combo though".
"We? " Hunter asked as he stared at his twin.
"Dinner at eight" Ophelia yelled at them before exiting the training grounds.
"Yes. Alright brother, let start your own training". Hayden talked as he walked off to a corner of the training grounds. He entered into the small shed, some seconds later, the training grounds began to change as the sand was rapidly drained out from small holes in the ground and replaced with a solid ground. Then the growth of plants began as grasses, shrubs and trees quickly formed.
"And here I thought we were using horses and carriages" Hunter said as Hayden approached him quickly.
"If you talking about the King's message in a scroll, then don't bother about wondering why, cause he himself loves the feeling of papers".
"We got a nerd for a king ?"
"Yup but more like a nerd who loves having a harem" Hayden nodded his head in affirmation.
"Man loves his books a lot. There are several public libraries in the kingdom where one can get a book for free, no payment, once in two months".
"Some charity or sort of " Hunter asked.
Hayden casually shrugged his shoulders, implying he had no idea as Hunter understood by dropping the conversation. And since he didn't mention the harem part, Hayden had no interest on talking about it.
"Now Hunter, let's start. Here's a manual for you".
Hayden threw a book towards Hunter who caught it and gave it a quick check.
'The book Of Psychic, written by the Martian himself'. It had a brown leather cover with a smooth texture and a tiny transparent gem below the author name.
"There are two kinds of books. One, the knowledge book and the other, the skills book.
The knowledge book is the one you read, the skills is the one you absorb".
"So how do you differentiate them" Hunter asked curiously while checking the book out.
"Two ways. Firstly, the skills book always have a small gem stone below the title or the author name of the book. Now the higher the number of gems presents, signifies the rating of a skill book. Three gems means three stars, five gems means five stars and a knowledge book have no gems."
He paused for a second before continuing.
"The highest rank of a skill book ever known is five stars or five gems. And secondly, a skill book can never be opened, only a knowledge book can be opened. Give it a try will ya big brother".
Hunter held the book and tried to open it, even with all his might he couldn't.
"So how do you absorb the book then ?".
"If you have an affinity for a skill book that contains a gem, then all you need to do is press the gem with your pinky finger until it sinks in after a few seconds it will simply vanish. For books of two gems and above, it is still the same principle, one gem is just enough".
"Oh okay" Hunter nodded in acknowledgement as he proceeded by placing the book on his laps and pressing his pinky on the translucent gem. Almost Immediately it sunked in and melted like sugar in water as the book started breaking into pieces of light fragments before disappearing completely. The process took less than ten seconds before a splitting headache hit him. He held his head in pain and agony, but just as it came, it quickly subsided as his eyes became red but clear.
"Not bad" Hayden praised him.
"I decided not to tell you what comes next, to see if you can really cope with pain, and you didn't fail".
"I have been through worse" Hunter muttered.
"Yeah, right, the accident" Hayden quickly replied.
But Hunter said nothing as he drifted with his thoughts away from reality. Just at that moment, waves of information began to get assimilated by him as they all became one with his memory.
Slowly he looked at Hayden and smiled.
"knock knock, brother it's me, Hunter".
"what the fuck!" Hayden screamed as he fell on his ass amidst Hunter wild laughter.
