The dress I wore was itchy and uncomfortable. The neck line was made of fake fur, and heaven knows nothing was as uncomfortable as fake fur.
"How do I break it to him? What do I do?" Abby asked as she paced the dress maker's changing room.
"You are making me dizzy." I tell her flatly. That does not stop her or slow her down.
"Can this be any less itchy?" I ask the dress maker.
She smiles apologetically,
"This is how the past alphas dress. Changing it would be breaking centuries old tradition."
"They walked around with this around their necks? What were they trying to prove?"
Once again the apologetic smiles comes out,
"They were males. So showing their chest was not a big deal for them."
I halt.
"So they did not feel uncomfortable the whole time.. change it. Leave the fur if you like. Just open it so I can breathe."
