"Erin? Can I talk to you outside for a second?" my eyes shot daggers in his direction.
"Even when she boils with anger like that, I still find it cute. Do you?" Seth thrusts his chest forward as he asked Austin.
How did all of this even happen? I was in control of everything and all of a sudden, I'm not.
"I will come with you too." Abby says with defiant look. I know that look, I saw it the first day she and i met.
"What? I am on Seth's side as well. I have to plead his case."
Seth beamed at the mention of his name. I want to pull my hair out in sheer frustration, were they not supposed to be on my sure? What was going on?
"Fine." I snap.
I pull Austin to the side and whisper in his ear,
"He knows nothing about our kind, and it remains that way."
He does not get the chance to respond because I am out of the hospital room, but I can hear Seth grumbling.
"Not fair."
