Alex looks at the red egg and can't help but feel a type of pity for his past self in the game. He had to go through so much trouble to get an elemental beast egg like this in the game.
If you had paid real-life money you could get one, but he wasn't that dumb to spend real money in a game. So he had to track someone who had an Earth-Mouse have someone kill him then take the mouse to him in chains. Then he had to order someone else to go to Magic City and buy an enslavement seal from a Blood Mage that cost 10000 Gold.
Well Alex personally did nothing to get the egg but coordinating people is hard to do too... ok it wasn't that hard but it took a lot of time to have other people find the information for him.
Anyway, Alex waited there in the grass naked till he dried off. While he is doing that he notices that the red egg was emitting a type of warmth.
'It definitely is a fire elemental beast. Though it doesn't have the burning heat of a dragon egg, it is still pretty impressive. If I had mana I could hatch it immediately but I will have to wait to get mana at least until I reach Gungai City for me to be able to activate my mana pores.
For that I will need to wait till age six, I believe that is when I would have to go to the city to activate my pores. The world-building was amazing in the Game so I know a lot about it.' Thinks Alex exited.
Him reading all of those cool lore books wasn't for nothing…
....
After Alex has no more water sticking to his skin he wears his clothes and holds the egg in his hands he then covers the egg in dirt until it looks like a normal brown though bigger than a normal egg.
He then takes a side road to go to his house so no villager will notice him and Gona, his new mother doesn't notice it too, she should be helping some lumberjack that got attacked by a goblin or something like that. It is true that she has been nice to him up until now but, why take the risk. After all, she could be a fanatic priest of Goddess Ariel... those guys are crazy. Though Ariel doesn't have a big number of followers… her followers are known to be VERY devout… so she gains a lot of power from it.
Then Alex tries to think of any information he has on his… so-called mother...
'I don't know a lot about her from the game. Only that she was a priestess that healed the companions of the players that passed by. Damn… I don't like not knowing things, plus this isn't a game anymore. I could die for real in here.'
....
After passing through the side of the village and arriving at his small one-story house. He goes inside the house and takes the magic lighter, puts some dry grass in the fireplace, and lights it up.
*Fwosh!*
As soon as the grass starts to burn Alex throws the egg in and then he immediately closes the front door. After all… when the creature hatches it needs to see him first to recognize him as it's master.
..
Five minutes later and Alex is still looking at the egg very intensely.
*Crack*
When he hears the crack Alex immediately starts greedily smiling…
This is it... this is the moment where he can start getting stronger. Not by just killing frogs or chickens but real monsters.
*Crack!*
*Crack!*
*Crack!*
Soon cracks spread all around the egg until finally the shell is destroyed. And the creature inside of it comes out...
Oink!
Oink!
A cute little boar as big as an adult's hand comes out of the egg, the little boar has red fur. The boar comes out of the fire without being hurt from it and he comes towards Alex. It looks at him and starts to rub itself on his leg...
So it truly was the Fire Boar just like in the game.
Then a translucent screen appears in front of Alex.
[NEW CLASS AVAILABLE]
He clicks on it.
[Due to completing certain conditions the CLASS:
Is available. Do you accept this as your main class.]
Y/N
Alex immediately clicks no. That is such a sh*tty class. It's basically a weaker version of Necromancer. Even at Legend level, you can only fuse with your beasts. Plus feeding the beasts is VERY expensive.
Then Alex looks intently at his boar...
'What kind of name should he have... Pot Belly... no that doesn't sound right... OH, I got it. He is technically a pig that uses fire to enhance his attacks so... Pork Chop... no just Pork.'
Then Alex smiles sweetly at the little pig.
"Ok from now on your name will be
Pork."
Oink!
Then the pig squeals in delight. He didn't understand a thing that Alex said, he is just happy to have his parents be close to him.
Alex then looks at the boar and frowns. How should he hide the boar... he needs to hide it and feed it for a couple of days.
He thought that the boar would be bigger, but he has planned for a situation like this too, just in case.
In the game, it was bigger and it grew up in only a week to become as big as a horse after some power leveling from higher level players.
Subconsciously without even noticing Alex's blue eyes that are usually with life like a normal person. They start to become hollow. The light is gone from them... suddenly he wakes up from his planning and looks at the boar.
'I kill the little guy for the exp... no that would be a waste. I will just put him in a place where he can grow stronger.'
Then Alex mutters...
"Pet Status"
Pork (Fire Boar) LVL 0
[Baby Fire Boar Lvl 0/5]
[Fire Boar Lvl 0/10]
HP 20/20
Strength – 1
Dexterity – 1
Constitution – 2
So he is level 0... then to get him to level 5 for his first-class then he would need at least one month to grow naturally to level 5. Also, his max level seems to be 15 that means that he can grow at a max of Rank 3. Though beasts can grow fast, some even faster than the players used to... but that limit of theirs is very bad. It can't be broken unless you get a special item. Every beast needs its own item to especially evolve them. It depends on their elements and such other things. I already know how to evolve him but it's going to be hard to get the item… well that is another problem for another time.
Anyway, he already has the 1:10 Constitution to HP conversion. But when it becomes a Fire Boar that would move to 1:15 conversion. I still have a 1:5 HP conversion but I am a squishy human and a child too, so that is normal.
Alex starts rubbing little Pork's head.
'Plan B it is then.' Decided Alex with him already planning certain outcomes that could come out of this plan. 'It seems like you will have to go to the Goblin Forest... so you pretty much either die or become stronger...'
Alex would stay with him in the forest but if he does that. He will definitely die a gruesome death... in the way of getting eaten alive by goblins.
He takes Pork outside and points it towards a direction.
"Go that way and fight."
The pig just makes a confused face and tilts his head sideways in confusion…
'Oh right… he was literally just born so he doesn't understand commands unless I have a class like beast tamer. Well it was worth a try anyway.' Thinks Alex calmly.
Alex then starts walking towards the forest. When he arrives there at the edge of the forest he puts down the pig. He grabs a rock and throws it towards the forest.
"Go, boy."
Pork still looks at me confused and he just sits down. Then he rolls around to show his belly.
Oink!
'Ok, this is annoying. You are a boar, not a dog.' Thinks Alex a little agitated.
Alex starts running towards the forest. He then stops a distance away and crouches down to make Pork follow along. Pork starts to run towards him and as soon as he reaches Alex. Alex starts jogging and then he lets Pork pass him and Pork starts running towards the forest. As soon as Pork runs past him. Alex just stops and runs backward.
'Sorry Pork but keeping you with me will give the strong people in this kingdom to take you from me.'
People in this kingdom are not like some arrogant young masters. They are like vipers. Especially the ones who pull the strings of the king. Yes, the Kingdom of The Reach is not ruled by the king but it is actually ruled by.....
