"I don't like him hanging around you," he said straightforwardly as if he had no choice but to say his mind aloud.
"Why? Did he think of something ill about me again?"
Carter is protective but I know he will not say something like that if it is really not necessary. He doesn't want to judge the people I am with and more importantly, he is not the type who would care about other's minds if it doesn't concerns me or something that concerns him.
"I don't like the way he thinks. And I guess he is not up for anything serious with Irish. If I am not mistaken, there is something that he wasn't precise about in his mind, but I think I know what it is. This might be a little too cliché, but I do feel like Peter is only doing this because he promised his friends that he would date Irish. It's like a deal between them. A bet."
