I don't know how I managed to sleep again with my mind clouded with the vampire theory. I just woke up to the loud sound of the alarm clock, and to Tessa's gentle voice outside. She was yelling outside my room, telling me I have a gift delivered. Although the weather was good, I didn't feel like going in because of that. I wanted to go to Edmonds for that's the only place I could see Carter, and talk to him if I'd be fortunate enough.
"What is it, Tessa?" I asked when I opened the door for him.
I looked down at what he was holding. It's a blue box with ribbons. Above it, a piece of paper was attached. To: Eve... it says.
"Who sent it?" I asked even I already had an idea.
Tessa shrugged. "There's no name of the sender outside the box. Maybe you would know once you open it."
"What if it is a bomb or some pictures with blood, like a threat? You know, like in the movies." I laughed. My mind is just really imaginative.
