"stop me if you can!" He snickered counting the cash in her presence as she folded her fist boiling with rage, she attempted to snatch it from his hand but missed the catch and he scoffed at her.
"Relax Natalie, I would repay you back okay?" He mused and she bite her lower lip while glaring at him. It was to please his girlfriend who believes he was some wealthy guy when he was living under he's sister's mercy.
"No! I'm not letting go of that! Not today!" She snapped making another effort and he pushed her away while arranging his scattered hair. Her back hit against the wall as she winced.
"Oh no sister, look what you made me do, stop acting all brave, I promise to return it okay!" He reprimanded and intended to aid her get on her feet. Natalie closed her eyes, she wasn't going to let go of that money which she had saved up for tonight! She was going to meet the man of her dreams and no one would stop her tonight. His hand was still stretched to her, she grabbed it and wanted to bite his wrist when a neighbor stepped in to say hi. It was Daniel, her work mate who often reminds her of what schedule the day held for her. He narrowed his eyes at Alex who was bent slightly over at Natalie who was panting heavily. It made him think this man was a pervert who wanted to take advantage of the weak Natalie, and quickly with no questions asked, he grabbed him and began to give him punches as Alex retaliated which caused commotion for the day. Natalie sighed and had to step up just to stop this men from fighting.

Their eyes rolled down at the cotton wool that was stuffed on their nose like mummies, they sat adjacent each other with ice bags on their hands massaging their bruised head. None of these males said a word as the female amongst them brought coffee for them.
"Whose this kid Natalie? You didn't tell me you have a superhero now" the former began gnashing his teeth as he wished to beat the hell out of this lad who glared back at him.
"He's a friend and he showed up at the right time!" She snapped and he scoffed.
"Whose he Natalie, tell me let me call the cops on him"
"Brother" she responded. Well this girl always gave answer to who asked of it. Daniel glanced at the man beside him who winced as he pulled a cotton wool from his left nostril, he ducked his eyes at it and then gaze at the lad who had a stern look at him. She never talked about her brother to anyone like though they cared
"Kid stop staring, it makes my blood boil! Is this how to build a healthy relationship with your in laws?"
"I'm not a kid okay!" Daniel barked and Alex grimanced not wanting to start an argument between this young man. Natalie rubbed her head and cleared up the assumption that Daniel wasn't her boyfriend but a friend which made the victim sad.
"I thought as much, he's not your type" he mused as Daniel pulled out the second wool from Alex's nose roughly which made him wince loudly as this lad was ready to harm him more not minding if he was relating to the girl he secretly admired besides his words were cruel to him.

Smiles couldn't wear off her face as she jogged behind Daniel who led her to where her motorbike was parked. At last, she got back her treasure from the predator who was her brother thanks to Daniel who always showed up to help at the right time. They worked as delivery personnels and always stick together when on duty that most times it was though that they were young couples or possibly dating for their age. Anytime they were asked these assertion about them was right, their reply was a no but deep inside Daniel's heart, he wished to say yes if only she would notice him rather than crushing on someone who she had never met. Oh yes! Her close friends knew about that! The girl who could die for her one and only popstar "k" whose full name remains unidentified by the public. She never thought of waking up to reality that life could be so disappointing when one hopes too much on it. Who would have thought that the money she fought for was just to attend the superstars concert! Her excitement was based on the fact that she didn't miss her ticket money. All the walls of her bedroom had his posters, indeed she was dying hard fan desiring to meet him someday and even dreaming that they wedded just that something interrupts whenever she tries to reach to him on the altar.
"It's the right Natalie!" Daniel interrupted her thoughts reminding her that she was going the wrong direction. It's a good thing Daniel was always there for her because she was easily distracted.
"Oh thanks" she said walking towards him to lead the way as though she was new in her own apartment.
"So what does this evening has for you? That's after work?" He asked timidly although knew what her response would be.
"Well, I'm going for a concert, you can come along!"
"I'm not a fan, got stuffs doing" he confessed with a frown as he wished he asked her out official, however she would turn him down indirectly claiming work got her all day.
"I wish you realize this is reality and not a fairytale" he mused silently pacing faster than her. Natalie shrugged her shoulders definitely it looks like she would never be in the real world.
"Wait up Natalie! You know I still don't know the direction to work!" She exclaimed which bemused Daniel, its been a year and half since she got the job and its been half a year he started working there. They were friends from the neighborhood and always fate happens that they work together.
"Just kidding" she snapped laughing and he scoffed at her. Just when they were about to leave, ten men in dark suits approached them.
