Vicky was surprised to see Jenny in his house.
" Where did you the get address of my house?" asked Vicky.
" From the library register and how difficult it would be to find your house in a group of hardly five houses," said Jenny.
" yeah right," said Vicky
" I am here to show you something," said Jenny
"What?" asked Vicky
" Get ready, I am waiting for you outside," said Jenny.
" OK," Vicky replied.
Then Vicky just rushed to the bathroom and got ready within 5 minutes. Vicky came downstairs and sprinted towards the door.
" Where you both are going, before having breakfast," asked aunt Lily.
" Aunty, Jenny has something important to share with me, So we need to hurry right now," said Vicky.
" Ok, then take care, go safely," said aunt Lily.
" bye aunty," said Vicky.
" Bye dear," aunt Lily replied.
Vicky mounted on his bike and Jenny on her pink scooter, then Jenny went forward and Vicky followed.
Then after a few miles, Jenny stopped her scooter by the roadside, So Vicky also halted his bike.
" What happened? why did you stop in the middle of the forest?" asked Vicky
Jenny pointed her index finger to the police vehicle and ambulance. There Vicky saw two police vehicles and an ambulance. Also looking at the forest where a few officers were investigating he saw a part of a small area has been sealed with tape mentioning over it 'crime scene'.
Vicky asked Jenny " What happened here?"
" The local police have found the body of the 6-year girl, they believe that the body is of the same girl who disappeared from the orphanage," replied Jenny.
" This can't be true, did you just come here to spoil my day," Vicky replied in distress.
Then Vicky walked towards one of the officers to examine what had happened.
" officer, hello, If you don't mind, may I ask you what just happened here," asked Vicky.
"Well, A girl named Jini, around 6 years in age, who was lost from an orphanage, her body has been found in a horrible condition." the officer replied.
"What horrible condition officer?" asked Vicky in low voice.
" When we obtained her body lying in this forest, after examining it, we concluded that body was hollow, no eyes, no vital organs can be felt, also the body didn't have scars, cuts, etc which could signify that she was attacked by some animal or killer." replied officer
Vicky stood shocked after listening to this. Jenny walked up to Vicky and kept her hand on Vicky's shoulder. Still, Vicky was in shock. She shook his shoulder to wake him up from the shock.
Suddenly, Vicky came back to his senses, sweat all over his face.
" May I see her body," asked Vicky anxiously.
" It is in the ambulance van, go see it before it leaves for autopsy," said the officer.
Vicky walked slowly towards the ambulance, as he was walking his heartbeat was getting faster and faster.
There was a body in the ambulance with a white cloth sheet laid over. Vicky moved his hand toward the head portion to pull the sheet down to unveil the face. As he slowly unveiled the face, he quickly turned his face away from it. As he knew, it was her only.
Then keeping control over himself, Vicky covered her face back with a sheet. He walked away from the ambulance.
He reached for his bike and sat on the ground taking back support of his bike's rear wheel.
Tears went down his eyes, he was just staring at the flower in front of him. It looked like he had gone into deep agony.
He remembered the girl asked for his help, he knew neither a man nor an animal killed her. It was the same shadow creature who did this.
Jenny walked up to Vicky, stood in front of him, and bent on her knees facing him, holding his hand, she said " It wasn't your fault whatever has happened, we are just going through a bad phase"
But Vicky felt helpless because he thought if he would have voluntary control over his soul teleportation power, then he might have known the complete truth about the creature and could have saved Jini somehow.
" This not the age for such an innocent girl to die in," said Vicky
"I know, but you have to be strong, you can't lose hope like this," said Jenny.
An officer came toward Vicky and said
"Sir, my senior wants to have a conversation with you, he is waiting at the police van."
Vicky wiped tears with his hands, stood up, and went to the officer.
"yes officer, how may I help you," said Vicky
Then the officer asked him a few questions since there was no clue about how the girl was killed. From where the body appeared in the jungle since the police had searched the location earlier and got no traces of her.
Certainly, the mystery was something else that was beyond their vision.
" Ok then, if we find something, we will call you, If nothing comes in an autopsy, then the case is open and shut type. Since the girl was an orphan so nobody is going to worry about her." said the officer.
" What an awful end to a small girl like her, life has just begun for her," said the officer.
Vicky moved away from the officer and walked toward his bike. He took out the keys of the bike and inserted them into the ignition system. As Vicky got into a stance to mount the bike.
Jenny interrupted him and said
" Don't worry, we will find who is behind this?"
" I know who is behind this but this police and their weapons are useless against him. I know the place as well, one will require special abilities and power to defeat him. He is not the mere killer that you all believe, he is more than that. you would never know what I had gone through over the last 3 nights." said Vicky
Jenny by pulling her right-hand sleeve back and revealing the same peculiar mark that Vicky had when he was in realm 0.5 said
" And what if I say, I know...!"
