The group emerged from the large heavy doors, light from the bright sun raining down on them, and the shadowy, dark dungeon was open behind them. The odd group stood in the doorway, a smile plastered across their faces at their new found freedom. The warm light of the sun engulfed the four, a pleasant contrast from the previous dark, cold dungeon. Conversations and whispers ran throughout the crowds who laid eyes upon the group.
Most eyes found themselves locked on Eodum, disgust and fear filling their eyes. Eodum didn't really care though, the four felt an odd feeling of pride and satisfaction filling their hearts. The lizardman took another huff of his cigarette and said, "Well, you're a free-rat again. You'll be under probation, so don't make yourself seem like an enemy, 'kay? One last thing, you ever wanna see me, state who you are at the Department of Justice over there, and say you wanna see me. The name's Delacs Rekoms."
"Okay, bye." Eodum said and nodded. It then transformed into a human form, and dressed itself in its usual garb. Eodum started walking away with Sheila and Henry following behind, but stopped and turned its head back to Delacs. Eodum waved bye and continued walking down the streets of Nomed. Delacs watched on with a grin as he mumbled to himself, "Hm, what an interesting rat. I can only wonder what it'll do in the future."
As Delacs spoke to himself in the doorway of the dungeon, the trio continued to make their way towards… Wait, where were they planning to go? Before, they'd just lived their lives and tried not to stand out, but now they were on probation and saved a city. Should they just go on with their lives? Hmmm… what to do? The three thought for a moment, discussing ideas, but they eventually just settled on living their everyday lives.
Henry split off from the other two and headed for Pain D'or while Eodum and Sheila went to the Adventurers' Guild. They made their way down the main road of Nomed. They walked down the paths and made snaking turns here and there. They eventually found themselves at the double-story building with a large sign out front saying 'Adventurers' Guild'. Eodum and Sheila made their way towards the door and swung it open.
Eodum walked through, with the 6'1' Sheila following a little behind it. The contrast of the light and heavy steps echoed throughout the Adventurers' Guilds as heads turned to see the pair who walked through. Silence began to spread throughout the building as the surrounding adventurers realized who it was. Normally, there would be mumbling and rumors that would spread like wildfire as whispers, but the tension of Eodum's presence made no room for comversation.
A few adventurers slowly reached for their weapons, and kept a fearful eye on Eodum. Eodum ignored that and strode up to the guild's receptionist, Kali. She watched in fear as Eodum came up to her. She remembered the battle with Ksilisab, and how this monster brutally butchered it. Eodum came strolling down, without its hood up, its mask on, or its usual wrappings. It revealed its form.
The face that was revealed was like the mask Eodum wore; it had the barest structure of a human. The mask had lips, eyes, and a nose while Eodum's only had the topography of a human face. It did however have proper eyes. The reptilian eye wasn't there, instead it was both of Eodum's true eyes. They were fully black with small, glowing white pupils staring at Kali.
Just looking at Eodum's skin made a creature feel dizzy. It was disorienting and had a mind breaking effect. Kali stood there chalk still looking down on Eodum. She was 7'0' with huge muscles, so seeing the slightly shivering form of Kali was quite odd from an outside perspective. However, it was seen as normal from the point of views of the demons in that building. Then Eodum's non-existent mouth opened to speak, "Hello Kali, I'd like to take a quest."
"Y-Yes! W-which ones?" Kali said fearfully. She was distracted as she had just watched a split form across Eodum's maw, and open to reveal what appeared to be nothing. She could only really tell that Eodum's mouth opened because of the shifting of the jaw. Otherwise, Eodum looked the exact same while talking.
Eodum's jaw began shifting once more, signaling it was speaking, "I'll take the hunt quest for three stinger lizards and two turtle snakes."
"I-I understand!" Kali said quickly, writing down the quests that Eodum just took. She wrote them down under its name, and then pulled up a translucent blue panel. She checked two checkboxes in them, and at the same time, two papers on the quest board disappeared. Eodum made his way out of the Adventurers' Guild alone; Sheila already went off to her party.

Eodum had finished its hunt, turned in the required items at the guild, bought some bread from Pain D'or, where someone besides Henry was taking orders, and went to its room in the inn. It opened the door to find that Henry and Sheila were already inside the and waiting on their beds. Eodum looked at them confused, "Why are you both here?"
"Fired." Henry and Sheila said in unison. They then explained the reasons behind their sudden unemployment. Turns out, being a powerful being who was involved with another powerful, maybe evil, being isn't what people look for in employees. Eodum looked thoughtful as it said, "Well shit, what are you two going to do now?"
Sheila replied, "Well I'm going to stay an adventurer. Might need to go solo though, not sure any parties are looking for a being like me."
"I'm gonna become an adventurer. I ain't the most powerful, but I can still hold my own. I'll probably need to go solo as well though." Henry followed.
Eodum thought for a moment before saying, "Hmmm… I might have a solution for your solo issue."

"Hello Kali, we'd like to form a party!" Eodum said in the Adventurers' Guild. It stood there with Henry and Sheila right behind it.
