We were driving for over four hours now to get to our destination. I still didn't know where the hell we were going precisely, not even when I begged him to tell me. After not giving any information, I huffed with a defeated sigh and just sat there with a pout on my face.
We drove for thirty more minutes then I finally saw were the hell we were going. "Why is it always in the middle of nowhere?" I asked him with a laugh and shook my head as he parked the car in front of what seems like a beach house.
He leaned in my ear and what he said next made my skin red. "You know exactly why." I pinned my lips together and looked away as he pulled away with a laugh, turning off the engine. "And it's not even in the middle of nowhere. Come on, you'll like the inside."
"Close enough so..." I muttered back with a grin as I opened the door and stepped out of the car, Max getting the suitcases out of the trunk.
