Chereads / Lucky Damon / Chapter 32 - Daredevil.

Chapter 32 - Daredevil.

A sleek black Ferrari Portofino pulled up at the front of Lucky's company, exuding an air of elegance and power. As the driver opened the door, Lucky and Dylan emerged from the vehicle, their presence commanding attention.

Upon stepping into the company, they were met with chaos. It looked as if a war had swept through the premises, with papers scattered everywhere and employees frantically trying to tidy up. The sight made it clear that something serious had occurred in their absence.

Despite the disarray, all eyes turned to their boss as Lucky and Dylan made their way through the bustling workspace. The employees, sensing trouble, gathered themselves in front of Lucky, awaiting his command in apprehensive silence.

"What the hell happened here?" Lucky's voice cut through the tense silence, sending shivers down the spines of everyone present. No one dared to speak, fearing the repercussions that might follow if they uttered a word.

When no one dared to respond, Lucky's frustration boiled over. He slammed his hand down on the table, causing it to shatter into pieces. The sound echoed through the room, a clear indication that this was no ordinary situation.

"Where is Ella?" Lucky demanded, scanning the room for the receptionist. His tone brooked no argument, and the urgency in his voice left no room for hesitation.

"Sir, she has been taken to the hospital by the ambulance with all the security guards," one of the employees finally gathered the courage to speak up, though his voice trembled with fear.

Lucky's brows furrowed in concern. "Why were they taken to the hospital? What happened?" Dylan pressed, sensing the gravity of the situation from the fearful atmosphere.

"Sir, a guy came and just walked in without saying anything and straight to the elevator. When we tried to stop him, he started a fight," another employee recounted, his voice shaky as he recalled the chaotic scene. He made sure to clarify that not all employees were present, as the reception area was separate from the employees' cubicles.

The reception area stands as the gateway to the company, housing facilities like the canteen and relaxation areas on the first and second floors. Moving beyond, the subsequent floors are dedicated to employees' cubicles before reaching the primary area where the boss's office resides. Additionally, there are other mini-offices designated for managers, secretaries, and other administrative personnel.

Given the layout, not all employees were witness to the chaos that transpired. However, Lucky was quick to discern the instigator behind the disturbance. Waste no time, he headed straight to his office without delay, already aware of who was responsible.

Meanwhile, Dylan, who remained present, absorbed the employees' accounts and shared Lucky's certainty regarding the perpetrator. It could be none other than Ziyad.

…...…

After a few minutes, Lucky reached his office and confronted the daredevil he knew was capable of such antics.

"Ziyad, what the hell are you doing here?" Lucky's voice cut through the air, sharp with authority, as he faced Ziyad, who was seated in the swivel chair, casually turning left and right with his legs crossed, as if he owned the place.

"Wassup bro, hw u doing?" Ziyad greeted, nonchalant and dismissive, choosing to ignore Lucky's question altogether.

"Will you shut the fuck up! What the hell have you done to my company? Who gave you the right to touch my employees?" Lucky's voice thundered through the room, his anger palpable.

"Aren't you happy to see me?" Ziyad remained unfazed, deflecting Lucky's question with a nonchalant attitude.

"Will you stop this and answer my question, what are you doing here?"

"Don't shout at me, it's not my fault. I told them, they didn't listen. And you know I am not patient at all. When you pass your boundaries, you will face disaster. I warned them, they didn't listen, so it's not my fault," Ziyad retorted, his tone defiant yet strangely calm.

"So that's why you did all that stupid rubbish. Let this be your last warning. If you try any rubbish with me and mess around with the people under me, I will make your life a living hell," Lucky warned, pointing at Ziyad with intensity.

"Are you talking to me?" Ziyad asked, looking around as if expecting someone else in the room.

"My dear brother, you know that's not possible. I can't leave you alone. You know when I arrive, I won't leave without doing what I'm here for," Ziyad enlightened, laughing like a man possessed.

"You are testing my patience, Ziyad. Don't let me beat you."

"Really? You'll beat me? Come on, let's fight," Ziyad challenged, forming his hand into a fist in front of him.

"Ziyad, I'm warning you, know your limit."

"That's what I'm doing. But let's have a fight first. I dare you," he said again. With anger coursing through him, Lucky moved like a flash, intending to grab Ziyad's neck, but he had already disappeared.

"Hahahah, big bro, you should learn to calm down. But for now, goodbye. I'll see ya again!" Ziyad's voice echoed, taunting Lucky as he vanished. Frustrated, Lucky couldn't help but groan in anger, smashing the glass cup on the table onto the floor.

Ziyad is indeed a daredevil.
