Marcus was his daily patrol through the city of Seattle. He was looking at the car in front of when it all happened...

Marcus was confused on what just happened then he heard screaming outside his car. He looked out and say people chasing others and tackling and biting them and running off. he was concerned for them so went out and checked on one of the civilians outside but to no avail. he was dead.
He went back to his police cruiser to call for backup on the crazies outside then he saw the man get backup and attack someone else, the same way he was attacked. So Marcus got out of his cruiser to put him down since he was endangering others.
Marcus then remembered that the thing that spoke to the. said he'd give them the ability to survive this new world. he was just confused on what the entity meant by that.
He felt like it could of been something from a game like a statue window and he was correct.

He wasn't surprised at his stats because he was a pretty gym bro style of guy. After work, he ran a good while of the treadmill and used his equipment. Marcus did play a few games so he realized what was happening.
Those people attacking other people had to be reanimated corpses (aka zombies). He's just gonna call them Zombies because most shows and games do that. He looked at his experience points and saw that he had 10 out of 100 se he thought to himself
"The zombie I killed gives 10 experience points."
"HELP!"
Marcus turned around to see a couple running from a zombie so he pulled out his Beretta Model 92 (A pistol used by some law enforcement) and shot the undead right in his head.
"Thank you!" said the couple in unison.
"No problem. I'm a police officer. it's what I'm supposed to do." Marcus told them
"Do you have any idea what we should do?" asked the man in the relationship.
"Oh and yeah, my name is Daniel and her name is Samantha. What's yours?" asked Daniel
"My name is Marcus." answered Marcus
They all got into the cruiser to get away from it all. Marcus told them It could be a good idea to go to the police station since there will other officers there help people in need.
"Sounds like a good idea."
