Day 1 (6/12/22) - Level up!
The crew knew that if they wanted to make their wish come true, they had to get weapons. Marcus told them they couldn't have guns because He didn't have time to teach how to use them so he told them that they would be going to the Jack's Hardware to get tools.
They traveled in the cruiser for another 20 minutes then Marcus realized he needed to get some gas because he was almost out. He saw a gas station up ahead so he thought it might be a good idea then he saw a car speeding down the street with an undead sticking out the window chomping on the driver. It all went quiet then... bam. The car rammed into the store killing the people running out the station. Marcus thought against getting gas and just going on foot because he didn't want to run out of gas in the middle of being chased so he told Daniel and Samantha that it's time to walk.
They traveled for 5 more minutes before getting to the Hardware store. Marcus killed a few zombies so he was only 30 experience points away from leveling up. When they went into the store they were confused on how clean it was still because all the other stores they saw looked like some "Protesters" got to them. They looked around for tools that would be useful in taking on the zombies. Daniel looked around and got himself some hammers and Samantha got herself a crowbar, Marcus got himself a axe.
On their way out of the store they ran into a few zombies that smelled their scents and followed them into the store. They knew it was a good opportunity to see if they were willing to kill to survive.
Marcus already killed some zombies so he knew what he had to do. Samantha was scared but she knew what she had to do, she ran up to a zombie and with all her strength, bashed the zombie's head in. Skull fragments and brain matter was all over her clothes.

Daniel ran up to a zombie and beat it on its head to kill it and just like Samantha he got 10 experience points. When he turned to Marcus he saw that he finished off 4 zombies all by himself.
After they cleaned up the rest of the zombies entering the store they checked all that changed on their stats.

The group was happy by their increase in strength. Samantha allocated her points into strength and dexterity, Marcus did agility and luck, and Daniel allocated his into agility and intelligence. The group left the hardware store in high spirits knowing that they are getting stronger.
After a while of walking they realized it was starting to get dark so they went to the closest house to see if the could stay the night. They went to 4 houses before someone answered.
"Hey, I'm sorry to intrude but could we stay her just for the night because it's getting dark and we don't want to deal with these undead chasing us in the dark." asked Marcus since he was kinda the leader of the group.
"Hmm... maybe." answered the man at the door. He was nervous because all the shit happening. He knew there could be crazy people running about killing people and he doesn't mean the undead.
"Please sir we can give you some supplies." Marcus knew it was a possibility they would be denied so he had to try to temp the man to letting them stay over.
"What are you willing to trade for a night?"
"Would some ammo for a Beretta Model 92 suffice?"
"Sure."
Marcus and the couple entered the house and went upstairs to the unoccupied room in the house to set up and head of to sleep. They knew it would be a good idea to have at least one person take guard shift because they couldn't trust a total stranger they just met. So Marcus told them he would take first watch. Daniel and Samantha told him thanks and went to lay down because they were exhausted. After a bit they dosed off and went into Dreamland leaving Marcus alone with his thoughts.
