Day 1 (6/12/22) - On the way
{Samantha's POV}
Samantha was sad about not seeing her mother and father. She knew deep down they were probably walking among the deceased but she didn't want to admit it because who would want to admit something so sad. She knew the best chance of survival was staying with Marcus and Danie. She knew if lost Daniel, she would break.
Samantha was just going to try her best to survive this apocalypse until the government or military helped put a end to the shit show.
{Daniel's POV}
Daniel wanted to see his family at least one more time even if they were among the dead. If they were, he still wanted to bury them. He just wanted to give them a proper burial.
"Marcus, ia it possible for us to head over to Olympia? I want to see my Mom and Dad."
"We can try. I cannot say for certain that we can do it today but if I can get us there, I will."
"Thanks Marcus"
"No problem."
{Marcus's POV}
Marcus decided after they left Samantha's parents home that they would try to save a few more people. On their way they say the undead attacking people in numbers. Blood and guts were everywhere, Limbs we're scattered about the streets.
It was sad for Marcus to see but he saw children.. undead children with their backpacks still on. kids who were only 10. They never got to experience life because of all this bullshit. Marcus said to himself 'If I ever have the chance to beat that entity, I will. He has ruined so many lives now because he thought we had it to easy'.
On their way, Marcus and the couple saw a grocery store. They knew what they were about to do and Marcus was an officer but they bad to get something good in their stomachs. Like a Pop tart or Donuts. When they got out of the cruiser and went into the store, it was awful. People were taking everything of the shelves and putting it all into their karts. Marcus was sad to it happen but he knew this would happen because they are afraid of starvation because they knew this would last for a while.
They saw people fighting over basic things like cookies.
After they grabbed a bit of food from the store. They went back to the cruiser to head off to maybe help someone.
They saw people fighting back against the undead but they were few in numbers. Most people ran from the undead.
Marcus remembered just now that he could level up by killing the undead.
"Have you guys checked your status window yet?"
"Our what"
"Just was Status and you'll see it."
"Okay."
Samantha and Daniel both said 'Status' at the same time.

Samantha and Daniel were shocked by what they were seeing. They never would of thought something that was in a game would pop up in real life but it did.
Samantha was sad by her Health Points but she knew it was correct. She never exercised much because she was a book worm.
Daniel was not surprised by his stats, he wasn't the brightest but he was a small gym bro.
After they saw their stats. They saw the experience points and asked Marcus what that was about. he told them that they could kill zombies to level up because he earned 10 experience points from killing the one that was chasing them earlier that day. Once they figured that out, they told Marcus the wanted to level up to get stronger and save people and protect themselves. Marcus agreed with them that it would be a good idea to do that but he also told them their will be a lot of blood on their hands.
So they knew what they new what they wanted to do now and it was to survive and become stronger.
