Chapter 32 - Battling an Abomination (4) – Climax.

Clover was dumbfounded by the magical thing that happened before his very eyes. His mind seemed to complement his shock, and he almost forgot the broken forelimb slanting to the other side.

There were two points that caused him to be dumbfounded. First was why the Abomination suddenly acted on himself, since it went to the point of ignoring the weapon, which was supposed its marionette to him. If a marionette saw an attack that could destroy its string, the former would naturally prevent it from happening.

However, that didn't happen. Instead, as if the puppet had suddenly disobeyed the order of the master, and acted according to his desires. As if the weapon wasn't the only one who desired the blood of Clover, yet for some reason, the Abomination took an interest in Clover, which potentially awakened its sentience.

Secondly, the weapon just activated its genuine power, maybe controlling the blood it had consumed. But a moment after, the crimson-colored rapier lost its luster, as if it was in slumber. Maybe, using that much power costs much expenditure which exhausted it so much that it caused it to slumber. But the fact that a blood thread slithered like a snake as if it was alive caused Clover to feel awed.

That two things continued revolving unto his mind, which caused the excruciating pain brought from his limbs couldn't enter his mind since the space had been full. It wasn't long before the Abomination turned his head and landed its gaze on Clover, but the weapon wasn't in sync with the Abomination's action any more.

Under the scrutinizing gaze, Clover felt uncomfortable. Having stared with the eye bulging out of its sockets, gazing towards below, yet he could feel that the black hollow hole was the real eye, and the eye swaying out of its socket was just a toy.

What's more, the aura of Abomination continued surging to its perimeter, a destructive evil aura ran rampant everywhere, and its boundary continued to increase to the point it was crawling to Clover's position. Clover knew that the Abomination he was facing now was stronger than before, much more, stronger.

It has its own sentience, which was already a level up from its already overpowered ability. Its evil essence continued spoiling the liveliness of nature, which trees after trees, grass after grass withered from the loss of vitality.

The Abomination continued to unleash its full potential for its existence; it smiles at Clover despite the loss of its teeth. Its nonexistent left limb grew, yet it stopped when it was about to create the second bone.

A bald body, hollowed eyes, nonexistent nose yet no blood coming out, with its left limb which only grew to the elbow part. The height was average, but the weight was below average. Almost all the bone part of the body was exposed, he was so thin that he was like a person who hasn't eaten for ages.

With a dark, gloomy, eerie atmosphere, it was radiating out of its presence. Anyone would feel like he was the embodiment of evil itself!

As it continued to expel more corrupted essence, all of its surroundings were not exempted. Clover, sensing the danger, stand up immediately and it was at this moment the intense pain kicked in. Biting his lips to the point of bleeding, he needed to distract the pain first, before he jumps back behind him.

He continued jumping back, to the point that his back landed on some trees. Confirming that the distance was enough for him to take a breath, he jump towards the branch of the tree and then took a deep breath. Grabbing his left broken forelimb with his right hand, he twisted it!

"AAARRRGGGHH!!!!"

He wanted to shout, but he wanted to prevent it. However, an audible cry of pain voice still came out of his mouth. The previous fractured left forelimb was now returned to normal, but it was still immobile, and wiggling uncontrollably.

"This left arm is already broken. I'm afraid that even with the current technology, it still needs a month or two to treat this broken arm of mine. Regretfully, there is no such thing here in the jungle. So, how could I treat this?" Clover stated, as his expression twisted from the agonizing pain. His mind was still on alert, as the intense pain awakened every emergency alarm on his body and mind.

He wasn't given enough time to contemplate his problem, as the Abomination was in sight. It was slowly walking towards Clover with the intimidating aura it was exuding. Clover could even see a fiery, darkened, eerie fire blazing inside its hollowed, empty sockets.

As Clover's intense gaze continued on. It didn't take long for Clover to burst out loud with laughter.

"Don't take me as a fool, my nemesis! That intimidation doesn't work for me." With that last statement of his, he leaped up, almost reaching the crown of trees.

The tree's height was above normal, with him standing on the first branch. It was natural that he couldn't reach the crown of trees, since he didn't forcefully intend to reach it. As he was leaping above, until the height of what his jumps could bring him into, He suddenly stretched his right arm southward, with visible five sharp objects gripping between each of his fingers.

Suddenly, his right arm disappeared! It didn't take long that even his hovering in mid-air was affected by the force, which caused him to move forward. Thankfully, he grabbed hold of another branch of a tree before leaping down, and gracefully landing on the ground.

He immediately set his sight to the Abomination, whose body had five fresh holes visible in his eyes. It stopped moving, and it immediately landed on the ground sideways with a thud!

"Heh? Just like what God's Record hinted. If a cultivator that became Abomination without touching the Rank 3 was nothing like a zombie I know. If it wasn't because that weapon you are holding lost its power, which is the only one providing you the power of undying. I couldn't kill you and I may have already run long ago. What's the point of the rewards anyway, when you can't enjoy them for a moment because you died long ago?"
