"I said, tell me what I need to know, a man from a foreign land," I repeated to the man in front of me.
I can sense his nervousness. His lips are trembling with fear as his heart beats louder, making me want to calm him down.
"Relax. I won't do anything to you, okay? I know you wouldn't dare to come here if you didn't need to talk to me. Tell me. I'm all ears," I tried to persuade him using my friendly voice as much as possible.
I remember the woman telling me that someone would come here and tell me everything without needing to feed blood. Is this the man she is talking about?
"Do you need water?" I asked him.
He nodded, so I stood up and got him a glass of water. After I gave him the glass of water, I let him drink it before collecting the empty glass after.
