"Weak mages! I'll rip you off limbs by limbs. It would be a massacre!" The demon smiled, showing a fang.
Vin stood up, dusting the dirt from his cloth, without his eyes leaving the Demon's.
The bloodlust in his eyes made Vin feel repealed.
"Vin!" Eden called, trying to speak up, but was trapped underneath a pile of rock. "....h… that's an upper ranked Demon…."
"I know," Vin said, kicking away the pile of rocks with no effort. This made the Demon's expression change.
With just a kick, he scattered the rocks. Interesting. The Demon said within his mind.
Helping out Eden and the rest, Vin gave the flower to Ivan, "You all need to get back to class"
"What about you?" Lucas asked.
"I need to take care of a backache here" Vin said, regarding the Demon.
"You can't take that Demon by yourself! That is an upper ranked demon, an A-ranked demon. Only those who have mastered Magic can defeat him" Eden told Vin, feeling concerned and scared.
"I know," saying this, Vin smiled, "When you get back, go straight to the nurse, you all are badly injured."
"We won't leave you-" before Eden could complete his words, Vin opened a portal, dragging them in.
"VIN!!!." Eden called before the Portal closed.
"Whoa, heroic deed. How beautiful" Said the Demon who has been watching the entire time.
"What do you want?" Vin stood on his ground, questioning the demon.
"Looks like we are going straight to the point here," Breathing out, the Demon continued his speech, "Isn't it obvious, I want to kill you mages. At least, when there are few, the possibility of those born with great destiny to destroy Darkness would be gone."
"I see, so you want to end us?" Vin's voice spoke no fear although a chill ran down his spine everytime a word left his mouth.
"Impressive. I'm totally impressed! In almost two hundred years, I haven't seen a D-ranked mage speak so courageously, when they haven't learnt almost anything. I feel deranged fighting you although I love the vibe, you are weak-"
"How do you know I'm a D-rank mage you nightcrawler! How do you know I'm weak!" Vin couldn't control the anger in the blood of Dravil. It was an anger from overestimation.
Rushing towards the Demon, the grounds cracked, revealing lava which spilled from nowhere.
Jumping out of the attack, the Demon missed a death punch, but the force broke through his skull, destroying every blood in there.
As a Demon, it simply healed. However, a pang of headache remained.
"How dare you touch me with those filthy hands of yours" The demon spat, creating a ball of darkness from his hands.
Shooting it towards Vin's direction, the entire trees dried up.
He was using the life force of everything in his path. Anything which breathes, moves and performs all the characteristics of life, were all drained out.
The attack created a straight up arid land with cracks on the ground. The skies became dark and doom smelled in the air.
"Die you disgusting mage!" The Demon sent another one, after Vin easily slided under the attack.
Before the Demon's eyes, the ball of darkness blasted Vin, creating a whole new explosion.
The dust subsided, making the area clear and visible.
"Huh? Where did that mage go?"
"Right here" Vin tapped the shoulder of the Demon who turned around, only to be greeted by the heaviest punch ever planted on an opponent's face.
Crushing the skull again, the demon screamed, healing faster than expected, "You aren't a D-rank mage! You are something else!"
"So it's now you know that?"
"Well, I'll figure it out now!" The demon opened a portal. Two, opposite to each other, with Vin in the middle.
From both portals, hands gripped Vin's arms and legs, with the intention of tearing him apart.
"No one has the power strong enough to s-"
The Demon eyes went wide open when Vin snapped through the hands, breaking them without struggles. Like he broke a biscuit.
"You dare underestimate me?" Vin screamed, his legs already lifted from the ground. With lightning in his eyes, a blast struck deep into the Demon's flesh, breaking his ribs.
One by one, his bones all broke. Although he healed and regenerated new ones, the sharp pain remained.
"Who the hell are You?" The demon spat out blood, creating another attack, large enough to destroy an entire kingdom.
"Someone you should never underestimate" Preparing for the impact, Vin placed both of his hands together, creating a portal, leading straight into hell.
However, when he did this, he never knew the demon prepared another attack beside that.
"Take this!" Smiling, the demon blasted him with the first attack, but struck him from behind with another.
As the first attack got to his head, Vin simply fell horizontally, escaping the second attack.
'BLAST'
Both attacks lead to the demon who mutters a word, "I'm dead" before getting struck by his own attack.
Landing on the ground, Vin carefully moved to the Demon, glaring at his red eyes.
"Who the heck are you?" Asked the demon who dragged himself backwards, trying to get away from this mage he knew wasn't supposed to be ranked D. "TELL ME!"
Hearing the insistence of the Demon, Vin dropped his hood, making the Demon's fear multiply. Not just multiply, it tripled an infinite number of times.
"LORD DRAVIL!" Although in great pain, the Demon bowed, knowing death danced on his head.
"Firstly, you attacked me without any regard to who I truly am" Vin said, having the deep voice of Dravil.
"My lord, you changed your aura and appearance making-"
"Shut that trash hole you call a mouth!" Commanded Vin as the Demon immediately did as instructed.
[This is cool! Interesting as well. I never knew I, I mean Dravil was feared this way.]
"Do you know what I'll do to you? I'll rip you off limbs by limbs and destroy you entirely"
"Dravil, My Lord! I beg, have Mercy" The demon begged.
"Let me think," humming, Vin let out his final word, "NO!"
Blasting the Demon, Vin could feel the power rushing through his veins.
Not only did he blasted the Demon out of existence, he threw the ashes into hell, through the portal earlier opened.
"And stay out!" Vin said, as the portal closed.
Looking at the skies which went back to normal, he wore his hood, when suddenly, he felt dizzy. Falling on the ashes from the earlier battle, his eyes saw human figures rushing towards him.
Their voices were faint as his eyes closed.
