[I don't know how, but I know where I am. This man standing beside me is my butler, Sebastian, a demon who swore to be faithful to me till the end. But the problem now is what am I doing here?.]
Vin took the filled glass from the tray with a plain face and a mind flooded with thought.
[I need to drink this or else there would be a problem.]
Bringing the glass close to his face, a sweet smelling aromatic scent went into his nose. So good, his eyes wide open.
"I know you would like a refreshing drink, My Lord" Sebastian said, bowing down.
Vin didn't say a word, instead, he took a sip. Then the entire glass went empty.
[I can't imagine I drank blood, yuck! But it surprisingly tasted good.]
"Why am I here?" The question Vin asked made Sebastian blink in guilt. "I'm waiting for an answer!"
"My lord, I actually need to confess about what I did."
Vin narrowed his eyes, knowing this butler had done wrong. However, there were many more things he had to discover, not just some silly confession.
Getting up from the king-sized bed, Vin walked towards the door, his head not yet stable.
[I know where I am, not just that, I have the complete memory of Dravil suddenly. Why is this so?.]
Climbing up a step after sighting something which took his attention— a door.
Pushing this open, he was led into a room filled with things so goresome he couldn't believe existed.
[The execution room. Dravil himself would enter here when he wanted to kill anyone. This actually made him really creepy.]
Shutting the door, he went down to the hallway which had candles burning in red flames.
"Where is the entrance?" Vin whispered when suddenly, he saw himself face to face with a door.
[This castle or mansion is controlled by the words spoken by Dravil himself. It's living.]
Pushing the door open with a force enough to send anyone flying, Vin made his way out with his eyes wide open from the environment.
[A domain? No wonder the council is finding it hard to pinpoint Dravil's location.]
"My Lord," Sebastian called from behind.
"What?"
"I… I… yesterday um…"
"I? Yesterday? Um? Why can't you speak properly?!" Vin shouted at him, with the anger of not being able to understand how this entire process works.
"Forgive me my Lord! I was the one who made you dizzy by sprinkling the petals of the Blue Lily, I had to inorder to bring you back here!" Sebastian was confused.
Vin on the other hand, eyes twitched when he heard this. Slamming his fist on the wall closeby, the entire castle, more than seventy feet tall cracked.
Seeing the anger of his master, Sebastian didn't raise his head, feeling wrath in the environment. Not just a feeling of wrath, death as well.
[Now, I've missed a perfect attendance for that stupid Zenphek training. All because of this Demon.]
Gripping Sebastian's neck, Vin raised him up, with the anger of Snow and Akio being twice suspicious of his whereabouts.
"My lord, you gave me the instruction!."
Hearing this, a memory flashed into his head.
A clean thought of him telling Sebastian to do so if he spent more than two months outside.
Releasing his grip, Vin allowed Sebastian to let go. Not knowing why he did so.
"I won't be able to stay for another day here or a minute. I have a lot of unfinished business out there, so don't wait for me" Vin told him, while opening a portal leading straight to the palace.
"My lord, you have an invitation tonight"
"Again?"
"Yes My Lord, it would be important to participate!"
Hissing in anger, Vin said, "When it's time, come find me."
"Yes My Lord." Sebastian bowed as Vin left.
'How lucky I was! Lord Dravil spared my head even though he was filled with wrath'
_____
Vin jumped out from the portal, with a sigh of relief.
The skies were dark and the stars sparkled beautifully. It was night and on Wednesday.
Moving into the palace, he walked slowly until suddenly caught a glimpse of Snow.
[DAMNIT! My hood!]
Quickly rushing away, he never knew Snow had long seen him.
"Vin? Is that you?"
[Damn]
Trying to wear his hood and still in Dravil's appearance, he suddenly saw an aggressive cat staring at him.
"Can't this day get any worse?"
The cat jumped on his face, holding still without letting go.
"Get off me you devilish cat! Why have you decided to come out?"
Struggling, he came close to the railing, losing a step which sent him falling down to the ground.
"Vin!" Snow ran outside towards a shrub he fell on.
After different rustling, the cat calmly walked away from the grasses, with no injuries or a single scratch.
Looking at the cat leaves, Snow couldn't understand why a cat attacked the boy he was supposed to be Vin.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Yes" came a low Vin's voice. He dragged himself from the grass, before stopping to face the night skies, when he saw Snow's twitching face.
"S-"
"You were absent for more than three days!"
"Y-"
"Come to my office instantly! We need to talk" Snow raised Vin from the ground. With his magic, he made him levitate, dragging Vin to the office.
"I'm not a culprit!"
*****
"How can you explain your recent behavior? Vin?" Snow crossed his arms as he questioned Vin.
"I-"
"Absent without permission? Why?"
"I-"
"And you know fully well tonight is the welcoming ceremony!" Snow broke Vin's plan by saying this.
"TONIGHT?!"
"Yes! If you were listening to all that I've been saying, you would have known tonight is the welcoming ceremony for all you rookies. And I expect you to be present! My eyes would be on you throughout to prevent any silly behavior! Or any sneaking out to leave!."
"But Mr Snow, you know I'm a good student who won't just leave" Vin tried defending the fact of being busted.
"Of course I know you are a good student and that's why I must keep an eye on you tonight."
Hearing all this, Vin's head dropped on the table.
[Tonight I've got an invitation as Dravil and a welcoming ceremony as Vin. Lord! I'm doomed.]
