Tamara POV.
"I, Tamara Morningstar, will not succumb to you!" I declare as I look Elija in the eyes. And I slammed my elbow into Elija's leg with all of my might.
It was the first time I had found myself at a disadvantage in a fight. Because I'm the most vital member of the group, it's pretty simple for me to beat my teammate.
My Alpha is the only person I haven't put through the test... In part because he refuses to accept my challenge, claiming that he does not employ force against women.
"Wow! Wonderful move, Tamara!" I was aware of Vic's exclamation, but I chose not to glance at them and instead concentrated on Elija, now standing straight and staring at me with such hatred in his eyes.
"You were allowed to surrender, but you blew it! You will now bear the costs of your actions!" Elija says, and in the flash of an eye, he dashes towards me and cuts me in the arms and side with two consecutive slashes.
"Hey! Did he use his claws?!" My mother, Lolita, exclaimed, "I can't believe it!"
However, it is not appropriate to reflect on her statements because Elija is preparing for another attack.
This time, I paid complete attention to his approach and prepared myself physically and mentally. The stress and exhilaration I'm experiencing make me even more pleased with myself. This is arguably my first encounter with a formidable opponent, especially given the fact that Elija is simply one of Jonas' subordinates.
And then Elija launched his assault on me, attempting to sever my neck with his hand, which I deflected with my own.
Because Elija is significantly larger than I am, I utilized my entire body weight to bring him to the ground.
"I'll grant you that you're strong, but you can't just knock me out like that!" I tell Elija as I wrap my hand and foot around his arm and twist it.
Is it your belief that your cute fighting ability will be enough to defeat me? Think again, my friend! The place you're in is Phantom City, and our Alpha doesn't like to play here!" Elija answers in a split second, lifting his arm with me attached to it.
I couldn't keep my surprise from showing because Elija threw me so effortlessly.
"Uh..." I sucked in my breath as the force of my fall shook me to my core. If the training area is not sandy, I will have a cracked rib by now.
"With this conflict, we've learned a valuable lesson. Don't be overly arrogant and believe that you are the most powerful person on the planet. Before I met Jonas, I was in a similar state of mind" Because he's younger than me, I misjudged him," Elija admitted before turning from me and walking away.
"Where are you going? I'm not finished yet!" I muttered this as I struggled to get to my feet. I know that I can still fight, and I will not allow this fight to be over quickly.
"Don't act like a child, Tamara. We both know that we will waste our time if we continue this fight," Elija remarks and turns his back to continue his walk.
I clenched my hand, my face flushed with irritation. My range is overflowing and consuming me. I couldn't keep my emotions under control any longer, and in a split second, I transformed into my wolf form and attacked Elija.
Elija, who was unconscious at the time, was startled to find Jonah sprinting towards him, but his gaze was fixed on the back. After then, Elija turned around and was completely taken aback by the sight of an enormous white wolf charging toward him. It was too late for him to react, so he simply put his trust in Jonas.
------
"You're on the verge of killing Elijah! "What happened to you?!" my mother, Lolita, shouted as she walked in front of me.
I could not respond because I was completely unaware of what had occurred. The last thing I remember is the anger at losing Elijah. I had never experienced such a wide range of emotions in my entire life. Even after David rejected me, I maintained my composure and control of the situation.
"Thank goodness, Jonas was quick and powerful! My mother continued to lecture, "He didn't have to shift just to keep you from slaying Elija!" she exclaimed. I'm also continuing to plunge because of my humiliation.
"Mom, how could Jonas detain me in his human form?" After a minute of deliberation, I inquired.
"Are you sure you don't remember?" my mother said, a raised eyebrow in response.
I nodded, but my face was frowning. Since I began shifting, it had never happened that I have no recollection of what transpired when I was in my wolf form.
"Jonas sprang at you, one inch before your fang went into Elija's neck. Then I'm not sure what happened because you rushed quickly through the woods. Jonas hunted you down and brought you back here in your birth suit!" My mother says this while holding her head since she suffers from consumption.
"Oh my god! Mom! Why aren't you the one chasing after me? "How could you possibly put your daughter in Jonas' care?" I yelled to my mom because of the thought Jonas' saw my nakedness.
"Are you insane?! How can I track you down in the woods? And, for God's sake, I'm too old to track you down. Plus, you lost your way of thinking," My mother's logic caused me to reevaluate my own beliefs.
"Can you tell me where Jonas is now?" 'I inquired. My voice was low.'
"In his room, but if you want to express your gratitude to him. It's preferable if you speak with him the next day."
I took a look at the clock that was hanging on the wall. The time was two a.m.
Is this to imply that Jonah spent four hours searching for me in the forest? As a result, I no longer insisted on my point of view and instead agreed with my mother.
When my mother left, I lay down and tried to remember what had happened to me.
But to my disappointment, nothing enters my mind. Even my wolf is nowhere to be found, as if it hid at the very end of my consciousness.
"It appears like Jonas is the only one who can provide me with an explanation for what happened in the woods," I muttered and groaned.
Because nothing happened during my meditation, I decided to retire to my bed and speak with Elija and Jonas in the morning before heading to work.

Meanwhile, in Jonas' room...
He had just gotten out of the bathroom and was currently sipping on a beer in the corner. Because of the injuries he experienced due to Tamara's loss of sanity, Jonas continues to frown.
