The morning was bright as the sunset over the mountains top. D'arcy already got prepared so he could leave the human world since he was not used to the place. Drusilla opened her eyes halfway to see if her husband was still on bed but she found the opposite.
D'arcy could sense that Drusilla was awake was curious about the disagreement between herself and her family.
"Princess Drusilla, I have something to talk to you about." He plainly said.
With a sleepy eyes Drusilla answered him yawning. "What's it?"
"It's like you don't agree with your family. Why is that?" He calmly asked her making the sleep in her eyes to disappear.
"They are not my family". She muttered almost rudely.
"They raised you while you were still a kid. So you should consider them as family." D'arcy remained calm while Drusilla tried to figure out his mood today but failed to.
Actually she can't consider them as family when she almost got killed by Liam using her allergy against her which was illegal.
"Let's not talk about this please." She pleaded with him.
"Go get prepared, we'll be leaving any time soon." D'arcy left the room and went to meet his sister who he didn't meet at the party.
"Greetings brother!"
"Greetings Kieran, how's your own preparation going?" He asked Kieran with a serious look.
" My carriage is ready so as the others." Kieran said as Andis and Zane came to meet the prince.
"My apologies for coming unannounced." Amdis simply bowed.
"No worries Amdis." Kenia smile at him while her mask wasn't covering her mouth.
" It's really good that you both are here". D'arcy replied. "Are the horses ready?"
"Yes". Zane answered.
"What about princess Drusilla's carriage and mine?" D'arcy asked raising his brow.
"It's ready."
"What about father?" D'arcy threw the question to his sister?
"Do you expect him to be here? He already left after the wedding." Kieran sounded round while D'arcy looked her her with a piercing eyes.
"Alright then. I'd have to visit King Horace, if you'll excuse me." The three bowed to him and he left.
King Horace was looking at the vampires preparing to leave for their own galaxy with amusement in his eyes. He was in deep thought about the faith of his young foster daughter. His thought was cut short by the sound coming from the door.
"It's opened".
Entered the room and slightly bowed to the King.
"Greetings King Horace"
"Greetings to you Crown Vamp Prince. I can see you all are ready to leave." King Horace smiled at him.
"Yes the preparations are ready."
"That's great!"
"We're gonna leave any moment from now." D'arcy remained still as he passed on the information to the King.
"Good...good. You see Crown Vamp Prince, although you have higher authorities you always humble yourself and you do thing accordingly and in a pleasant way." King Horace grinned.
"I do what I want and I don't think you want to see my other side?" D'arcy remained serious causing goosebumps on the king's body.
"No, I don't! I was just giving some complements". King Horace faked a smiled.
"No offence! King Horace, I don't like complements." D'arcy warned.
"Sorry about that. I respect you alot". King Horace humbled himself before the vampire prince.
"You should...my age is not just a number and I can sense that you are in your fifties so it's nothing compared to mine." D'arcy harsh words were like sharp knives.
" I'll be happy if u secure Drusilla and endure her dirty attitude." King Horace smirked.
" I'll go check on how far she has prepared." D'arcy left King Horace's presence.
Drusilla was packing up her belongings with the help of the Kenia who was busy sobbing.
"I'm really gonna miss you Princess Drusilla." Kenia sobs.
"Take good care of yourself while I'm gone okay..." Drusilla felt so emotional at the moment and gave Kenia a warm hug.
"I will. Be calm and cool. Don't be stubborn okay..." Kenia said as she let go of the salty water that filled her eyes.
"Oh com'on Kenia! you don't have to babysit me. I'm not a kid." Drusilla pouted her lips.
"You know what, I'm gonna miss my stubborn mistress. I'd only I could come with you." Kenia sobbed the more as D'arcy barged in.
"Are you done? They're all waiting." D'arcy examined what she was wearing with his eyes. It turned out that she was putting on a simple purple gown that was not princess like. With her french plait designed with flowers.
"I'm ready now...but I want Kenia to come with me please." Drusilla pleaded while D'arcy accessed Kenia and nodded his head in disapproval.
" There are alot of maids there and you can pick any of your choice." He was strict with his words making Drusilla to frown.
"Oh, is that so?"
"Can you do me a favor of not displaying your stubborn attitude because I just learnt about it." D'arcy was still strict with his words and it made Drusilla to almost cry. Liam must have told him about it. What a loser!
Liam has done so much harm to her more than good. Kenia helped her parked her things outside and the Coachman helped her out and kept Drusilla things inside the carriage.
Kenia could see that Drusilla husband would not tolerate her attitude and had pity on her because she knew that they're not married because of love but for political reasons which made her feel sad. She hoped that her mistress won't get maltreated by her so called husband. He was Dracula himself. Poor Princess Drusilla. When will she find true love but it was what she actually wanted. To be with a vampire prince.
