Meanwhile, back in D'arcy's carriage; there was absolute silence and Drusilla was uncomfortable with it because she doesn't like silent places.
"Can you now tell me more about yourself?" She requested raising her head from his thigh.
"Like I said we'll get to know more about each other ones we get to our destination." He bluntly said without moving an inch.
Drusilla was dumbfounded and without staring at his face laid back on his thigh before he changes his mind about her. Her gaze fell back to his hair which was tempting her to get a hold of it, even if it was just a touch. Drusilla observed D'arcy's features and her eyes fell back to his colorless long fingers with two rings placed on his middle and ring finger.
"He's so weird." She murmured.
"I heard that!" D'arcy turned to her with a disgusted look.
"Urghh!" She grumbled.
"Like I said don't give me an attitude. You'll need to do as I say and also obey before complain. You won't like to see my other side." With his sudden intense of his, fear from an unknown source gripped Drusilla and she became numb and shamelessly sat erect.
D'arcy noticed something off about Drusilla but he can't put his finger to it. She seemed so rare from her look and he has not encountered anymore like her before. She had blue eyes that was not in line to her features. Her hair in a french plait style matched with her purple cloth. She was like an amazon princess. Definitely not, she's a human.
"You have blue eyes, how come?" D'arcy asked because blue eyes are rare to the vampires only moon witches possess that kind of look but he wasn't going to go deep about that.
"Yes, of course."
"It's rare though." He positioned himself in an erected manner. The carriage landed on a cool ground making the portals closed. The house that was connected to the carriage mixed it's step and caused a sudden bump between the two couples as Drusilla fell on D'arcy's chest while butterflies gathered in her belly.
He got such a manly features. Drusilla still doubted if her husband was a vampire or an angel. Well he's the soon-to-be god of the vampires.
"You got to maintain your stance, princess Drusilla." He slightly coughed. He used the telepathy method to transfer a message to the Coachman. "It's late now, find a comfortable place for us to spend the night." He instructed.
Drusilla again peeped through the carriage window and discovered that the sun has been overshadowed by the dark clouds.
"Can I ask you a question?" Drusilla impatiently muttered.
"You'll have to suspend it of the question is about me." He replied after reading through her thoughts.
"I'll have to suspend it then." She faked a smile.
"I'm gonna clear all your doubts by answering all your questions. You just have to be patient." He reassured her.
"When are we going to arrive?" Drusilla yawned while asking him the question.
"I don't know, maybe in two days time. We'd have to stay in a tent for now."
"Can't we make it before then?" Drusilla anxiously asked looking at him awkwardly.
"We can but I chose not to." He concluded.
The opened the door of D'arcy's carriage and showed him to the already arranged tent.
" That's your tent, your highness. "The Coachman pointed at the tent that was metres away from them.
" That's our tent. "He informed Drusilla.
"Alright." She smiled sheepishly, too bad that her husband was the opposite.
"I'll go speak with Amdis and Zane why you can wander around but don't go too far." He instructed and left.
"Puff! Wander around, that's only if I knew my way around." She let out a deep sigh.
While Drusilla was wandering around she came across Princess Kieran who was busy sharpening her long sharp blade that has a sparkling edge. Drusilla was afraid of Princess Kieran because she doesn't look so friendly at all. Unfortunately for her no one seems to notice her presence as she dashed back to her tent and fell asleep.
Meanwhile, D'arcy was hanging out with Amdis and Zane who were both busy gossiping about his wife before he came to hang out with them.
" Hey Prince, would you like to have a sip of the sweet liquor. " Zane said feeling a little bit tipsy.
" Zane you're drunk already, cut it with the act. I'm a blood thirsty vampire so give me a blood tea instead of liquor. " D'arcy's voice raised an alarm to Zane.
"He's can't understand the ways of a Sanguinarian, he's just a Psychic." Amdis laughed out loudly.
"Prince, Amdis has been blabbing about how hot your wife is." Zane muttered with a lying tone.
" Shut up Zane, I never said so. My beloved Shila is the only hot and eye catching woman I know." Amdis spitted out blood from his mouth while D'arcy just watched them.
"Amdis are you trying to say the prince's wife isn't eye catching?" Zane backfired already drunk.
"Don't get me wrong Zane." Amdis retorted as he turned to look at D'arcy who remained numb.
"You both should stop acting like a kindergarten kid. You're grown men for crying out loud." He raised his mask halfway to sip his blood tea.
"Speaking on which, Amdis here wants me to go spend time with Princess Kieran." Zane whispered to D'arcy who fired a piercing eyes at the both of them and just nodded his head.
"What are you talking about, Zane?"
"I mean want to court Princess Kieran." Zane whispered again. If Prince D'arcy has the ability to laugh he would have laughed out loud that all the world portals would shut down and seize to open.
Zane is drunk so that's not a meaningful word he just said. D'arcy knew Kieran was in no mood to entertain a man now. She's a warrior and all she spends her time doing is going to war and bringing back victory to the RIC vampires. Zane must be joking since such a word was expensive. If Princess Kieran heard what he said, she would have used her sword to cut off Zane's mouth.
