Inside the well arranged room, D'arcy didn't make any move as he wanted Drusilla to make the first move.
Drusilla wonders what type of hand she has fallen into. If she knew that this was the type of Vampire she'd marry she would have refused but it's better not to stay in that palace with the god damn Liam.
Fortunately for her, D'arcy was the one that spoke first. He was still behind his mask but the time not a scary type.
"Sit!"
Drusilla was short of words. She obeyed him like a puppet. 'This guy is weird and so stiff' she thought. She wondered why they're not joining the people in the celebration and summoned all courage to ask.
"Why aren't we joining the party?" Drusilla asked nervously still on her veil.
"We've met again and now married". His cold eyes were like a sharp object piercing into her own eyes.
Drusilla could not figure out what was up with her newly wedded husband. Why was he so calm?
"Yeah, I thought so. So can you answer my question please..."
"I want to see your face before anyone else, so I'd be removing the veil here". D'arcy spoke calmly.
Drusilla couldn't figure out his point of view, she was like a lost sheep. His voice was so lively and calm like the ocean. 'What a man?' She thought.
"That's weird! It's hot in here. Aren't you feeling it?" Drusilla used her hand as a replacement for a fan.
"No. I'm fire itself." He stood up to remove her veil after uttering a word that almost made Drusilla to pee while sitting on the old couch.
'This man just said he's fire, what have I gotten myself into?' She panicked not letting the strange man to notice but he did.
After removing her veil. D'arcy face for a while and said some foreign language in which she didn't understand.
"Can I remove your mask now?"
"Well, yes. You're my wife now" D'arcy assured her as he positioned his face for her to remove the mask.
Nervous at first but later removed the mask. Her eyes were glued to his face as the mask fell off her hand still in surprise. This man looks like Dracula. His silver eyes were like clear crystal more like an angel himself. Drusilla loved everything she saw as she anxiously touched his silver hair still lost in his beauty. She thought of seeing a monster instead of a prince charming. Could a person like him still exist. Drusilla wished she had met him earlier because his beauty was unexplainable.
"Why are you staring at me like that? Where u expecting to see a monster?" He asked looking irritated by her behavior. If not for the help of his mask RIC eligible females will be drowned in lust to have him all to their self.
"No, it was far from what I had expected. What type or kind of a vampire are you?"
" I'm a Sangiunarian."
"I thought so" Drusilla vividly remembered what Kenia told her about the species of Vampires. D'arcy's red eyes made it clear to her.
"I won't entertain any further questions". D'arcy took two metres space from her.
She drew so closer to him. Still admiring the strange handsome man that one sitting two metres away from her as she began to lust over his beauty. It's was the first time she had complimented a man. Drusilla shamelessly rubbed his chest and he stopped her by holding her hand.
" You're so delusional, well not tonight. I just want us to move to the vampire realm first." He released her hand. While Drusilla was embarrassed by the rejection.
"You just made me feel like I'm a sort of the, like, villain trying to steal your virtue or something". Drusilla spoke out of embarrassment with no mood of join. Her marriage is gonna be a total mess.
"It's not my virtue I'm concerned if, it's just one rule I want to leave unbroken." D'arcy said still as emotionless as ever.
"What rule?"
"I can't have you here in your father's house".
" Alright then." She let out a deep sigh.
"I want to go speak to your father. You can join the rest at the party." He wore his mask and left.
" I must go tell Kenia about my few minutes talk with him. If I must say her the most charming person I've ever seen, Liam isn't even a bit handsome than him. But he's kinda abnormal." Drusilla soliloquised.
*****
"Greetings" D'arcy bowed to King Horace.
" Greetings"
" I'll be leaving with your daughter at dawn." D'arcy informed.
" Well planned.... she's your wife now" King Horace smirked evilly
.
" I know that, I'll take my leave now." He bowed and left after seeing that King Horace was about to say another word.
"Congratulations prince" Zane and Amdis spoke in unison as they both went to meet D'arcy.
"Thanks brothers."
"So when are we leaving?" Zane asked.
"By dawn". D'arcy answered taking a sip of the blood wine that was presented to them.
"What was her reaction when you removed your masked?" Amdis grinned.
"She was utterly dumb folded and I don't like that." D'arcy ran his hand through his silver shinny hair.
"Brother, you need to get used to it" Zane advised.
From the look of things D'arcy isn't happy about his marriage with Drusilla. He just wanted her to subside his selfish desires which would eventually eat him up if he doesn't learn how to love her if only she loves him in return but now Drusilla was only lust in his beauty.
" Who won't be happy to have you as a husband? You never had any interest in a female making others to think you are some sort of a gay?" Amdis spoke with an irritating tone.
"Definitely I'm not a gay. I just don't have any interest in both men and women. I'm a shadow to my self and just a blood thirsty vampire." D'arcy feeling depressed smashed the glass with his bare hands.
"Where are we going to pass a night?" Zane digressed
" This place of course". Amdis blurted aimlessly.
" I'm curious to see what your wife looks like" Zane smiled at D'arcy.
" Bet me brother, she's beautiful" D'arcy reassured.
