Standing on the sandy beach, a girl shouted with a fierce voice. This girl is none other than Venice Loraine -- a peasant the princess fell in love with. She shouted in pure anguish and disappointment. She was unable to do anything. Helpless, worthless, and undeserving of the princess – this was what she felt. Venice had her knees fall to the sand, crying slightly. But she stood again, wiping her tears. She told herself that this wasn't a time of tears. Ferociously, she ran as fast as she possibly could. She had just remembered they had secretly made a boat together. Since only Ivy had the power to walk on water, they had to make a boat specifically for Venice when she ever got trapped on the island. Venice set sail immediately as soon as she found the vessel.
Halfway through, Venice felt a tingle in her spine. She was now starting to feel the fear of losing her life. But she sailed bravely and tried her best to be uncowardly. Even with such efforts, yet another question began ringing in her mind. Even if she gets there, what would she do? She is but a mere peasant. Untrained in magic and sword, she had no fighting capability. Perhaps this was the reason that she feared her life when she set sail to Enarol. To her, this was a serious issue. Would her arrival be an interference? Would she be only bringing others down? She decided that she'll just help with evacuation and other non-frontline tasks. Even if it was to her displease, she had no choice.
Venice arrives at the back of the kingdom. Running soldiers managed to find her and capture her. The soldiers arrested Venice as they thought she was part of the invasion. She tried convincing the guards she was there to help evacuate, but the soldiers didn't believe her. Of course, they didn't. A peasant suddenly appeared out of nowhere -- they were right to be suspicious of her. It didn't help that Venice ran out of nowhere. While she tried to hide from the soldiers, she arrived instead on a battlefield.
Bruises in arms, legs, and more. Soldiers desperately fighting for the kingdom, one by one, dies. It was like a cemetery without its graves. A dump of dead bodies. Chances are, the corpses will hunt this place forever. Venice stops her pace as she slightly throws up. The soldiers were getting close, so she ran more and faster. She reached a tower in which, when she looked to the side, she saw Ivy in so much pain. Ivy was in agony, and Venice was in worry. Without a second thought, Venice jumped off the tower. She controlled the water in the artificial river of Ginaryu to catch her fall. Ivy was surprised when she saw a girl manipulating water and running towards her, but it was no time for greetings. Ivy controlled the water that Venice previously maneuvered and pushed Venice to her back. Ivy was angry that Venice had come and had seemingly forgotten about Venice manipulating water. Venice noticed that there were two other soldiers near Ivy. It was the Captain of the Knights of Enarol Mailee Zea Ginaryu and her younger sister, Vice-Captain of the Knights of Enarol Ces Mica Ginaryu. While the two asked about Venice, Ivy told them that she was a citizen and they must do their duties to protect her as much as others.
A second after the two captains asked about Venice, a huge portal formed in front of them. This was surprising as they had a barrier that prevented portals from opening inside the kingdom. This meant only one thing: the Archmage Beatrice Darang Gyonarei had died. Ralph von Waterton, the apprentice of the Archmage, betrayed the kingdom and led invaders to the Archmage. He has noticed that Princess Ivy had fallen in love with a mere peasant. For whatever reason, he wanted to bring the whole kingdom down with him: he was already mad, to begin with. As a last-ditch effort, the Archmage killed Ralph.
A witch came out of the enormous portal. She introduced herself as...
