A shout was heard among the halls. It was the outcry of Jed's younger brother -- who was favored by their parents. This was because Jed fell in love with a person of his own gender. Practically everything that Jed was supposed to inherit was moved to his younger brother. Jed was angered by this. He complained about why life was unfair to him. Why could he not live an extraordinary life with his beloved? For all of his life, he had been looked upon as a prodigy. He was the most powerful mage to ever exist. He was the closest to God. The younger brother chased Jed and shouted his apologies to his brother. Jed had just left the Chamber of the Throne and was still angered. Unfortunately -- due to his anger -- the younger brother was hit by a sudden fireball from Jed's hands. While Jed soon realized what had happened, it was too late. The power of the fireball was so powerful it took his younger brother's life in an instant before disintegrating him.
Jed ran as quickly as he could in an attempt to save his brother's life. But it was for naught as he fell to his knees. Tears came out of his eyes as he wept the loss of his brother simply because he lost control of his emotions. Jed went to hide in his beloved's house but was betrayed and assassinated. He was not beloved by the world, and he wasn't beloved by God either. As his life passes through his eyes, consumed by anger and sadness, Jed doesn't rest in peace. As he lay down on the wooden floor where he was brutally stabbed several times, his corpse started to float and emitted powerful black-colored magic. The assassin and Jed's lover quickly dropped dead on the floor as if their life had just been stolen by God. Jed opened his eyes and saw the shriveled and dry corpses of everyone around him.
He believed God had finally given him the chance to take revenge on the world. He wandered through the woods until he reached the outskirts of the forest near the kingdom of Enarol. There he witnessed a wedding being held. Jed saw a beautiful maiden dressed in white. Jed, envious and corrupt, murdered the maiden as she was about to say her vow and took her beautiful form. As he fled the wedding in a hysterical laugh, he was now wholly reborn as the Beloved of God. The crowd, horrified by what they had witnessed, ran away to save themselves. The survivors of this tragedy later called the monster the Witch of Calamity.
